Mad With Power: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Claims She’s The Boss

Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t even been on the job for two full months yet, but she already thinks she’s in charge of the entire federal government. She has claimed in the past that there are 3 chambers of Congress and 3 chambers of government and now she believes she’s the boss of all 6 of those things. Luckily for her, the liberal media has no interest in calling out her ignorance or megalomania, because she’s a liberal superstar and it would be racist or sexist or some kind of “ist” to do so.

AOC has been pushing her “Green New Deal” which would kill all the cows, destroy every building in the country, and eliminate air travel while transforming our entire country into a socialist hellhole. The stated purpose of this commie plan is to stop global warming but it wouldn’t change the temperature of the planet in any measurable way. It would however cost trillions of dollars.

Naturally Ocasio-Cortez has taken a lot of shit for this ridiculous thing and she’s been mighty defensive accusing her critics of being scared of a song empowered woman. (No, we just think she’s dumb) The GND is pure delusion so it seems fitting that AOC is seizing power in fantasy land over it.

As you can see, she is claiming that “they” are in charge and the rest of us should sit down and shut up. It’s not entirely clear who she is referring to when she says “we’re in charge” but presumably she means the democrats. It’s important to note that the democrats have control of the House of Representatives, while Republicans control the Senate and the White House. Somehow in AOC’s twisted mind this means that her party is running the show.

Because that was a little confusing, Ocasio-Cortez clarified who is actually in charge and it turns out it’s her:

You heard her. She’s the boss and despite the fact that she’s just one member of the House, she has justified her seizure of power like this:

“The power is in the person who’s trying, regardless of the success. If you’re trying, you’ve got all the power. You’re driving the agenda,” said Ocasio-Cprtez.

After establishing the way in which one assumes control of the United States government, she relates it to herself:

“Like I just introduced Green New Deal couple weeks ago and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one has even tried,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Now wait for it…

“I’m like, you try. You do it. ‘Cause you’re not. So, until you do it, I’m the boss! How about that?” Ocasio-Cortez proclaimed.

Both of these AOC statements of lunacy are similar in that she believes that because she came up with a ridiculous plan to destroy the country she’s in charge unless we come up with an equally stupid idea. That’s not how our country works, but then again, she has absolutely no idea how anything works.

Back in 1981 when President Reagan was shot and in the hospital having surgery, Secretary of State Alexander Haig assured the country that he was in control of the White House crisis management team while VP George Bush was flying back to Washington. The liberal media treated Hiag like he was a madman who had seized control of the presidency. Why is there no similar reaction from the press when AOC claims her Green New Deal has put her in control of the federal government? Haig had a legitimate claim to temporary control, while AOC has nothing.

Or how about this: Bush Senior’s VP Dan Quayle misspelled the word “potato” because it was misspelled on cue cards given to him and the liberal media savaged him for the rest of time for being an imbecile. Alexandria Ocasio-Crtez says something profoundly stupid every single day and the liberal media acts likes she’s both a genius and the future of our country.
