Democrats loves them some unborn baby killing and support abortion right up until the child is about to be born, but who could possibly be opposed to saving babies lives after they are born? The answer to that question is democrats. The democrats in the Senate, blocked a bill that would require doctors to make an effort to save a baby’s life after it had been born. Putting it another more accurate way, democrats support infanticide because they don’t think a live-birth baby is worth saving.
Republican Senator Ben Sasse introduced the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would require healthcare professionals to attempt to preserve the life of a baby born after a botched abortion attempt. This shouldn’t be a controversial thing as anyone with a modicum of human compassion should agree that a baby born alive deserves to continue to live. Unfortunately, democrats are monsters and shot this bill down.
Fox News reports that this bill came up for a vote in the Senate on Monday and failed 53-44, 7 votes shy of the 60 needed to pass. Unshockingly, all 44 votes against came from democrats, including every single democrat running for president: Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Kamala Harris of California, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.
Three democrats actually voted in favor of this bill: Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Doug Jones or Alabama. And three Republicans were unable to vote: Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Tim Scott of South Carolina.
While it is absolutely horrible that democrats opposed this bill, nobody made a shittier statement than New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.
“This bill is just another line of attack in the ongoing war on women’s health,” said Shaheen.
Really? Once the baby is born and is outside of the mother, nothing, including saving the baby;s life, will have any affect of the mother’s health or life.

New York recently passed a third-trimester abortion bill that allows unborn babies to be killed right up until the time they are being born. Virginia has introduced a similar bill and the state’s governor Ralph Northam has thrown his support to letting babies die after being born. Those however or local state issues.
With this vote on Monday, Senate democrats have decided that even after birth, they would like to see babies killed or left to die. It’s impossible to overstate how horrific of a position that is.
And if you are keeping tabs, this is what the modern Democratic Party stands for: socialism, high taxes to pay for socialism, open borders, eliminating the Bill of Rights, and killing live babies. You would have to be a complete anti-American/anti-freedom/anti-life maniac to vote for a democrat and yet people still do.
