Shock: Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris: Incarcerated Violent Felons Like Boston Marathon Bomber Should Have the Right to Vote

Via American Greatness

Senators Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris Monday night indicated that they would both support a change in voting laws that would allow incarcerated sex offenders, murderers and even terrorists like the Boston marathon bomber the right to vote.

In Manchester, New Hampshire, CNN hosted five back-to-back 2020 town halls featuring Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Kamala Harris, and Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

The five Democratic presidential hopefuls answered a variety of questions, including the voting rights question.

Asked whether he believed violent felons like the Boston Bomber should be allowed to vote, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders answered that he believes everyone should have the right to vote

“Yes, even for terrible people, because once you start chipping away and you say, ‘Well, that guy committed a terrible crime, not going to let him vote. Well, that person did that. Not going to let that person vote,’ you’re running down a slippery slope,” he said.

The Obama Use of FISA-702 as a Domestic Political Surveillance Program….

Via The Conservative Treehouse

Now that we have significant research files on the 2015 and 2016 political surveillance program; which includes the trail evident within the Weissmann/Mueller report; in combination with the Obama-era DOJ “secret research project” (their words, not mine); we are able to overlay the entire objective and gain a full understanding of how political surveillance was conducted over a period of approximately four to six years.

Working with a timeline, but also referencing origination material in 2015/2016 – CTH hopes to show how the program operated. This explains an evolution from The IRS Files in 2010 to the FISA Files in 2016.

The FISA-702 database extraction process, and utilization of the protections within the smaller intelligence community, was the primary process. We start by reviewing the established record from the 99-page FISC opinion rendered by Presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer on April 26th, 2017; and explain the details within the FISC opinion.

I would strongly urge everyone to read the FISC report (full pdf below) because Judge Collyer outlines how the DOJ, which includes the FBI, had an “institutional lack of candor” in responses to the FISA court. In essence, they were continually lying to the court about their activity, and the rate of fourth amendment violations for illegal searches and seizures of U.S. persons’ private information for multiple years.

San Francisco Needle Exchange Leaves Streets Littered With Toxic Syringes

Via Zero Hedge

San Francisco officials are debating if they should continue a needle exchange program that has left city streets littered with hazardous waste.

We have made an uncomfortable observation on social media: Thousands of needles are scattered on city streets, most likely came the Department of Public Health’s needle exchange program.

San Francisco Board of Supervisors expects to approve a seven-year extension of the exchange program, could cost taxpayers a whopping $26 million.

According to the San Francisco Examiner, the city launched syringe clean up crews last summer that collected 90,000 syringes from city streets in its 180 days on the job.

Joe Biden Viewed Gays in Government as ‘Security Risks’

Via The Washington Free Beacon

Former vice president Joe Biden once told a group of constituents in Delaware he viewed homosexuals working for the federal government as “security risks,” according to an archived local news report dug up by the Washington Free Beacon.

Biden has positioned himself as an advocate for gay rights since leaving the White House. Last year, his foundation launched the “As You Are” program to promote acceptance of members of the LGBTQ community and fight against their discrimination.

In his first year as a U.S. senator, however, Biden appeared unwilling to accept members of the gay community as federal employees.

The article from The Morning News, a Wilmington, Delaware-based paper no longer in circulation, covered a September 24, 1973, meeting Biden held with members of the North Star Civic Association. One of the members, a gay-rights activist, asked Biden questions on job discrimination at the U.S. Civil Service and in the military.

Biden’s “gut reaction” on the issue was that homosexuals were “security threats,” he said.

Students at historically black university denounce white neighbors for walking their dogs on “sacred” campus

Via The College Fix

Students at the historically black Howard University say members of the surrounding community who take “leisurely strolls,” lay out blankets for picnics, and walk their dogs on the campus Yard are being “brazenly inconsiderate” and “disrespectful.”

The Yard, as reported by DCist, is “a set of criss-crossing cement paths bisecting large grassy patches” where students hang out, especially during nice weather. However, for many Howard students it’s also a place “imbued with history and meaning.” Trees are planted honoring (historically black) fraternities and sororities, and the annual homecoming festivities are held there.

But over the last few years, members of the community have encroached on The Yard … especially more affluent, white neighbors.

“You know this is a university. You know this is a historically black university. And you feel so entitled that you’re just going to walk your dog there?” said Howard senior Briana Littlejohn. “I find it very disrespectful.”
