Nancy Pelosi Warns That Trump Won’t Accept The Results Of the 2020 Election

For a group of people who don’t accept the results of free and fair elections, democrats sure spend a lot of time fretting that President Trump won’t accept the results of an election. Wicked Witch of the West Nancy Pelosi is sounding the alarm that Trump will refuse to relinquish power when the democrats retake the White House in a landslide in 2020. She should be more worried about a Botox shortage or that people will discover she drinks virgin blood to keep from dying but, whatever, it’s her delusion.

The New York Times interview Pelosi and by “interviewed” I mean they wrote a glowing fluff piece with a couple of quotes. Her biggest concern these days is that Trump is going to pull a “democrat” and refuse to accept the results of the 2020 election:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi does not believe President Trump can be removed through impeachment — the only way to do it, she said this week, is to defeat him in 2020 by a margin so “big” he cannot challenge the legitimacy of a Democratic victory.

That is something she worries about.

“We have to inoculate against that, we have to be prepared for that,” Ms. Pelosi said during an interview at the Capitol on Wednesday as she discussed her concern that Mr. Trump would not give up power voluntarily if he lost re-election by a slim margin next year.

In recent weeks Ms. Pelosi has told associates that she does not automatically trust the president to respect the results of any election short of an overwhelming defeat.

Clearly Pelosi is not a student of history, at least not of her own party’s history. The fact is, the Republicans, Trump included, have never refused to accept the results of an election nor have they questioned the legitimacy of the winner of that election. The democrats however…

In 2000 George W. Bush defeated Al Gore for the presidency by winning the Electoral College, but losing the popular vote by a slim margin. It is now 19 years later and democrats are still bitching about this, claiming that Bush stole the presidency from Gore. They of course leave out the part about how they are the ones who tried to steal the presidency with voting shenanigans in Florida, but liberal narratives never involve the actual facts.

In the lead-up to the 2016 election Hillary Clinton said it would be “horrifying” if Trump refused to accept the results, but that was when she was sure she was going to win. After losing decisively, Hillary has done nothing but not accept the results. For some reason this is less horrifying.

Since Trump’s 2016 win, democrats have done everything they can to get rid of Trump including trying to frame him for colluding with the Russians and encouraging his cabinet to stage a coup. Rep. John Lewis has maintained since he boycotted the inauguration that Trump is not the “legitimate” President of the United States. Many other democrats have also questioned Trump’s legitimacy, which is another way of saying they do not accept the results of the 2016 election.

In 2018, democrat Stacey Abrams lost the Georgia governor’s race to Republican Brian Kemp fair and square. It’s been 6 months and she has yet to officially concede. As recently as this weekend she was telling people that she actually won the election and is the rightful Governor of Georgia.

Also in 2018, democrat Andrew Gillum lost a free and fair election to Republican Ron DeSantis for the Florida Governorship. Despite trying to steal this election through chicanery in democratic counties, Santis emerged victorious but the democrats refuse to acknowledge his victory.

This is a very clear pattern from the democrats: when they win an election they accept the results but when they lose they don’t.

The good news for Pelosi is that her fears are unwarranted. Thanks to the democratic party that has moved to the left of Vladimir Lenin and a crop of joke candidates, President Trump is going to win in a historic landslide in 2020. I suspect Pelosi knows this and is using her fake warning to set things up so the democrats can continue to question Trump’s legitimacy in his second term.
