Duke Nukem Accidentally Admits We Have Gun Ownership Rights

California Rep. Eric Swalwell is running for president on a heavy gun control platform. Most of that platform is his desire to disarm the American people and jail or nuke anyone who resists. Someone with a fascist plan such as this clearly has no idea what rights the Constitution protects, but in a rare moment of clarity Swalwell accidentally admitted that Americans do have a right to gun ownership. Even more mind-blowing, he said we have a right to own “assault weapons,” which is going to make his disarmament plan that much more difficult.

This is kind of convoluted, but the pay-off is decent. Fred Guttenberg, the anti-gun father of Jamie Guttenberg who was killed in the Parkland, Florida school shooting, got into a Twitter fight with conservative radio host Austin Petersen:

For some reason, Eric Swalwell thought his lack of wit and ignorance of all things would add to the conversation so he chimed in with this:

There’s so much dumb here, even for Swalwell, so let’s just take the idiocies in order:

Interestingly enough, the Constitution doesn’t protect a person’s right to live. It’s an implied right, but not an expressed and enumerated one like the right to keep and bear arms. Also, these two things aren’t a zero sum game. It’s possible for people to live and have gun ownership rights. In fact, people have been living and owning guns since this country was founded. Swalwell’s BS argument is either people can own guns or everyone dies, which is exactly as moronic as it sounds.

In Swalwell’s plan to nuke everyone who won’t give up their guns, it’s: either no one has guns or everyone dies, which is also moronic.

Next, radio host Austin Petersen didn’t kill Jamie Guttenberg, as implied by Swalwell. The dipshit democrat is drawing a direct line between Petersen owning a gun and Jamie’s death, which is again a completely idiotic thing to say. Whatever Peterson has in his gun cabinet had no bearing of Jamie Guttenberg living or dying.

Then we get to the thing that Swalwell admitted but is too dumb to know he admitted it. He very clearly affirms Petersen’s (and our) “right to own assault weapons.” Cool. Does that mean we can start buying select-fire M4s and belt-fed M60s at Bass Pro Shops? I’m definitely down with that. I’ve spent the past couple of months giving Swalwell shit for attacking our 2nd Amendment rights and here he is expanding them. What a guy.

Finally, Swalwell calls Petersen a troll but, like many other words, he doesn’t know what it means. Petersen was having an exchange with Guttenberg that didn’t include the California Rep. and yet Swalwell nuked his way in with a an insanely dumb comment designed to annoy. That’s called trolling, bro.

Petersen then invited Swalwell to come on his show and explain his anti-gun nonsense:

A quick check of Swalwell’s timeline shows that he chose not to respond to this invitation.

The liberal media is ignoring Swalwell, which is a shame. I love this guy and think he’s almost as funny as Joe Biden. Sure, he’s polling at 0%, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have value. Well, comedic value. I mean, the guy has threatened all American gun owners with nuclear annihilation. He says dumber things than AOC. How do you not put him on TV every second of every day?
