Mayor Pete: God Is Not A Republican

Fresh off his statement that American has never been great, Pete Buttigieg claims that God is not a Republican. Putting this in the proper perspective, a gay guy who supports abortion and infanticide thinks the democratic party is closer to God than the conservative morality of the GOP. You know how democrats try to claim the Constitution doesn’t say what it says? This is way way worse.

Buttigieg was on NBC Today and was asked about his faith, which he claims is important to him.

“I think it’s also important that we stop seeing religion used as a kind of cudgel as if God belonged to a political party,” said Buttigieg.

After saying “we” shouldn’t use religion as a political cudgel, he then used religion as a political cudgel:

“If he did, I can’t imagine it would be the one that sent the current president to the White House,” Buttigieg.

You got that? According to Mayor Pete God doesn’t have a political party but he definitely isn’t a Republican. By implication, Buttigieg is saying that God is almost certainly a democrat.

First of all, democrats hate Christianity and go into hysterics anytime someone gives a public affirmation of their faith. They freak out if anyone tries to display the Ten Commandments, shut down school Christmas pageants that dare mention Christ on his birthday, and destroy business owners who have religious objections to sinful behavior.

Secondly, the official democratic party platform reads like a rebuttal to the 10 Commandments. They are godless thieving lying adulterers who hate traditional families and support killing unborn babies. That’s breaking 6 out of 10 right there, plus with their socialist redistribution of wealth policies, they covet all of our stuff. 10 out of 10.

On a more personal note, as an openly gay man who is married to a man, perhaps Pete Buttigieg is the wrong guy to deliver the message that God is a democrat. As he may know, the Bible takes a dim opinion of homosexuality:

You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.Leviticus 18:22

If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act.Leviticus 20:13

And it’s one of those things that carried over from the Old Testament to the New Testament:

For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.Romans 1:26-27

In Buttigieg’s defense, he never specifically said that he was talking about the Christian God. Maybe he’s saying that Quetzalcoatl or Xenu are good democrats. If he’s an ancient Aztec or a Scientologist, he should probably mention that before claiming that his god endorses his political campaign.

See, I don’t actually care that Buttigieg is gay. Though he looks like he’s 14-years-old, he’s a grown adult and can do whatever he wants in his personal life. What he can’t do however is hijack Christianity to push his gay agenda.

This qualifies as the single worst campaign strategy of any democrat running in 2020. He’s trying to convince people that the immoral baby-killing democratic party is more in line with God’s word than the Republicans. He should know that fabricating a political endorsement from God is bearing false witness and blasphemous to the faith he claims to have.
