President Trump is going to be able to sit back and enjoy the show as the enormous Democrat field tears each other to shreds with the “winner” set to limp off the stage at next year’s convention to do battle with a well-rested incumbent who is already licking his chops.
The field may be nearly two dozen strong with Hillary waiting in the wings but there is no question that Democrats will be featuring the most extremist slate of candidates in the history of the nation and that was BEFORE Comrade Bernie’s big speech on Wednesday and his call for a socialist revolution.
Despite early polls that show him losing handily to former Vice President Joe Biden, the POTUS is undaunted, unimpressed by the same erratic pollsters who called the 2016 election wrong and has already decided on which Democrat that he would most like to face for all the marbles in 2020.
Come on down lunchpail Joe and get ready to take your whipping like a man.
In remarks on Tuesday, the leader of the free world weighed in before a press gaggle when asked about the swarm of Dems (minus Biden) who invaded Iowa over the weekend.
It was vintage Trump, already working to get under good old Joe’s skin by suggesting the 76-year-old’s mental faculties are declining and that he is a dummy.
Trump on Biden:
“Obama took him off the trash heap”

“He’s the weakest mentally”
“Biden is a dummy”

Speaking like a confident man who fears nobody, the POTUS let it rip:
I heard Biden, who is a loser — look, Joe never got more than 1% except when Obama took him off the trash heap– and now he’s failing, it looks like he’s failing.
His friends from the left are going to overtake him pretty soon. His whole campaign is to hit Trump. You look at what the Obama administration did, in terms of the military, security, other nations, almost everything. Much of it fortunately for almost everybody here has been overturned. But look, when a man has to mention my name 76 times in his speech, that means he’s in trouble.
I have to tell you, he’s a different guy. He looks different than he used to, he acts different than he used to. He is even slower than he used to be, so I don’t know. But when he mentions my name that many times, I guess I should be complimented…
I’d rather run against Biden than anybody, he’s the weakest mentally. I like running against people who are weak mentally. I think Joe is the weakest up here. The other ones have much more energy. I don’t agree with their policies, but I think Joe is a man — I call him 1% Joe, because until Obama came along he didn’t do very well…
Joe Biden thought that China was not a competitor of ours. Joe Biden is a dummy. Joe Biden thought that China was not a competitor. China made $500 billion over a short period of time against Obama, Biden, and for many, many years, in all fairness to them.
While floppy Joe sought to make up for lost time in his belated visit to Iowa where he viciously attacked Trump – and promised to cure cancer if elected – the president took the high road at the America First Iowa Dinner in Des Moines where he largely annoyed the “dummy” like an annoying gnat and instead touted his successful economic record.
Given that the media and the party establishment is determined to crown Biden as the nominee no matter how many gaffes fly out of his mouth between now and next summer, the geriatric D.C. insider will be walking straight into a buzzsaw when things start to get real.
