Hate Hoax Alert: Black Lawmaker Lied About Racist Trump-Related Incident

Yesterday a black Georgia lawmaker said that a racist white MAGA man told her to go back to where she came from, just like President Trump said to Rep. Ilhan Omar. Today that man has come forward and disputed the story. Plus, he’s a Trump-hating Cuban democrat. Rather than being inspired by Trump, this hate hoax was descended directly from Jussie Smollett.

State Rep. Erica Thomas said yesterday that she was verbally assaulted by a racist white man:

And she made this tearful video recounting the bad racist man’s attack on her:

The thing is, last week President Trump told America-hating anti-Semite Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar that if she doesn’t like this country, she was free to go back to her native shithole in Somalia. The bubbling outrage here is that Trump’s “hateful rhetoric” is emboldening his racist supporters to attack women of color.

Naturally liberals believed the story and pointed the blame squarely at President Trump:

At least Terrible Ted Lieu had the sense to delete his knee-jerk outrage:

“Both [President Trump] and [the GOP] have grossly underestimated the number of Americans who have experienced the racist “go back” insult. We all know how it hurts. And we are going to vote. I predict a Dem wave in 2020, just like we had in 2018.#IStandwithErica,” wrote Lieu.

However, the man from the grocery store came forward to offer his side of the story. Here’s what happened when Eric Sparkes confronted Thomas at the grocery store as reported by WSBTV:

Sparkes claims he never said anything racist, although he did admit to cursing at Thomas for having too many items in the express checkout lane.

“I’m a liar about what?” Thomas asked Sparkes.

“Everything that happened,” Sparkes said. “Me telling you to ‘Go back where you came from. Did I say that? Is it on video?”

“Are you serious? What did you say to me then,” Thomas asked.

“I called you a lazy (expletive),” Sparkes said to Thomas. “That’s the worst thing I said.”

“Yeah, that makes you look better to say that,” Thomas said.

Now wait for it…

Sparkes told Jennings he is a Democrat and of Cuban nationality and claimed Thomas was just accusing him to help her political career.

“This woman is playing the victim for political purposes because she is a state legislator,” Sparkes said. “I’m a Democrat and will vote Democrat for the rest of my life, so call me whatever you want to believe. For her political purposes, make it black, white, brown, whatever. It is untrue.”

Oh, and Sparkes thinks President Trump is a racist Nazi:

The interesting thing here is that liberals and their propagandists in the media fall for these hoaxes every single time. Pushing their bogus narrative blinds them to obvious bullshit and they fly off the handle whenever a professional victim concocts and impossible-to-believe story.

Here’s a thought: any politician that falls for a hate hoax must immediately resign and any news outlet that publishes the story as fact gets a 6-month time-out and has to put “fake news” in front of their name: Fake News NYT, Fake News CNN, Fake News MSNBC, etc…
