Fake News Wants You To Think This Is A U.S. Soldier Threatening A Migrant Mother And Child. It’s Not

There’s a lot of ways the fake news fakes the news: They straight up lie, they use an anonymous source to straight up lie, they omit important facts to give a false narrative, and they misrepresent facts to give a false narrative. This is the latter two. The fake news is promoting this picture of an armed soldier threatening a Guatemalan mother and child to make everyone think President Trump and his immigration policies are cruel and inhumane. Get ready for a shock: it’s all a humongous lie.

Somehow CBS took the bullshit up to 11:

The response the fake news is trying to elicit is: OMG! Trump is a Nazi who points guns at asylum-seeking women and children. They are counting on everyone having a hysterical reaction and not actually reading the story.

Because if you actually read the story, it becomes evident that this is a load of garbage. First up, that is a Mexican national guardsman and this is in Mexico:

Ledy Perez fell to her haunches, a clenched hand covering her face as she wept, an arm clutching her small 6-year-old son, who glared defiantly at the Mexican National Guard soldier blocking them from crossing into the United States.

What? That’s not a US soldier or Border patrol agent like Reuters and CBS implied? Consider me shocked. Even more shocking, that paragraph is still filled with lies.

The Mexican soldier was not not threatening the woman and child:

The soldier displayed no overt aggression during the nine-minute encounter with Perez and her son.

The Mexican soldier was not not blocking the woman and child from entering the US illegally, he was recommending against it:

An official with the National Guard said the soldier “invited her to avoid putting herself at risk by crossing the river with a minor.”

And the Mexican soldier did absolutely nothing to keep the mother and child from entering the US illegally:

All of a sudden, seizing the opportunity when the battle-ready soldier glanced away, Perez lunged into the shrubs growing on the side of the river bank, pulling her son with her. They quickly ran across to the other side of the river and out of the guardsmen’s jurisdiction where U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents took them into custody.

To recap: A Mexican solider warned a Guatemalan mother that it was dangerous to swim across the river with her child in an attempt to sneak into the US and then allowed her to do it anyway. Somehow that’s not a headline that gets the liberals freaking the f*ck out over Trump.

The only thing now is to wait for AOC, the Squad, and Hollywood celebrities to retweet this image and accuse Trump of being worse than the Nazis. Eventually this false narrative will make its way into the 2020 campaign with the democratic candidates citing the picture as an example for why we need open borders and how President Trump is worse than the Nazis.

Obviously the fake news ran out of pictures of kids in cages from the Obama administration to blame on Trump, so now they’re deceptively using the Mexican national guard to stoke outrage. I’m surprised the liberal media doesn’t just use old pictures of the Holocaust with headlines like: “President Trump Houses New Americans In Mass Graves.”
