It’s Ramping Up Folks

Incidences of anti-Christian Persecution are ramping up all around us; and like the frog slowly boiled to death in a pot of warm water, not enough of us are sounding the alarm.

In watching the news over the last 10 years or so, our senses have been assaulted by the images of ISIS Islamists cutting the heads off of kneeling Christians and Churches being regularly burned to the ground in Moslem majority countries.

Here in our own Country, the persecution is more subtle, (for now) but just as painful and just as threatening.

The persecution here, thus far, has been in the courts and in the ever changing “rules” of Big Tech.

We’re all familiar with the snide remarks about people of faith from the supposedly educated young people who call themselves “progressives.” I think Regressive’ would be a more appropriate descriptor.

This regressive crowd delights in attacking people of faith with expensive-to-defend lawsuits in an attempt to coerce a change in behavior stipulated by our Religious Beliefs.

The most recent case in point being the 3rd lawsuit filed against Masterpiece Cake-shop of Colorado.

Most normal people would give it up after seeing a previous case get squashed by the Supreme Court. But not these regressives. They are well aware of the financial burden they are putting on this small business owner who is living his faith outwardly.

Third Discrimination Suit Filed Against Masterpiece Cakeshop

DENVER (CBS4) – Attorneys for a Denver woman greased the pan for yet another legal battle against a Lakewood bakery already burned around the edges from a series of heated (so called) civil rights fights. Jack Phillips, owner of the Masterpiece Cakeshop, refused in 2012 to bake a wedding cake for Charlie Craig and David Mullins, a same-sex couple from Denver, on the basis of his religious beliefs.””

In addition to lawsuits, these regressives are going out of their way to damage the reputation of Christian Businesses by filing hundreds of bogus “reviews” on yelp and other opinion sites in an attempt to hurt the reputation of these businesses as much as possible. I call these reviews bogus because so many of them are carbon copies of each other with similar phrases like “the cake was dry.”

It’s a shame they don’t have enough brain cells to rub together to come up with some original prose in their “reviews.”

As for Big Tech; until now the attacks on people of faith have been underhanded.

Instead of attacking Christians directly, the persecution has been by squelching the morals and ethics – people of Faith put into their Online oral and written comments.

We have seen one Conservative after another demonetized on YouTube, and tens of thousands of people of faith censored and even kicked off of the social networks.

Why?

Precisely because we have morals and ethics and refuse to go along with the spiritual sickness and perversion that evil people want to force everyone else to accept as “normal” behavior.

But notice this: Big Tech led by YouTube is now attacking Christians directly by their recent denial of an online ad because it had a forbidden keyword in it.

The forbidden word?
CHRISTIAN.

Veterans Charity Founder Says YouTube Video Was Censored for Containing ‘Christian’ Keyword

The founder of a charity dedicated to working with military veterans and active-duty members afflicted by combat trauma is claiming an ad for one of his organization’s recent YouTube videos was censored over the weekend for containing the keyword “Christian.”

“So one of the keywords to boost the ad,” Robichaux explained, “was the word ‘Christian,’ which we use regularly. The ad was denied specifically because of the use of the word ‘Christian.’”

A screenshot of the email Robichaux reportedly received from Google described the keyword “Christian” as “unacceptable content” and a “potential policy violation.”

“This is the first time we’d seen this,” he continued. “We called the [Google] helpline and they said that Google’s new criteria prohibited that word, ‘Christian.’”

Looking ahead, I’d say things are gonna get worse before they get better. Where do YOU think we’re headed?
