The democrats, including Barack Obama, have been warning us that global warming is an existential threat and some have indicated we only have 15 years left until life on Earth is wiped out. Thankfully that threat is over and the proof is that the Obamas just bought a $15 million beachfront mansion in Martha’s Vineyard. The first couple wouldn’t drop that kind of money on a property that will be submerged by rising sea levels in a couple of years, would they?
The New York Post reports that the newly mega-rich Obamas bought themselves a mega-mansion on Martha’s Vineyard. The 29-acre beachfront property has a 6,892-square-foot main house, with another 4,000-square-feet of auxiliary quarters. The house has 7 bedrooms and 8 1/2 bathrooms because Barack likes to sleep but is more full of shit.
I’m not sure if this means anything, but the mansion is located at 79 Turkeyland Cove Road.
The Obamas had been renting the house from Boston Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck over the summer and fell in love with it so they made an offer. The house is in escrow and reportedly went for around $15 million.
There’s a couple of reasons why this mansion purchase by the Obamas signals the official end to global warming alarmism:
First, the upkeep and operation of 11,000-square-feet on 29 acres is one hell of a carbon footprint. Anyone who was genuinely concerned that global warming is man-made would have to be a special kind of asshole to purchase such a gaudy polluting property.
Second, this mansion is on an island in the Atlantic ocean and right up on the beach. If man-made global warming was actually melting the polar icecaps and causing the sea levels to rise, nobody in their right mind would drop $15 million on an estate that they thought was going to be swallowed up by the ocean any day now.
Granted, the Obamas are special kinds of assholes, but they aren’t the kind of assholes who would throw $15 million away. Clearly they aren’t concerned about global warming or they would have bought a mansion in Aspen, a mile above sea level.
This Martha’s Vineyard mansion is in addition to the Obama’s $8 million dollar mansion in DC they bought after leaving the White House. With speaking engagements, book deals, and a Netflix deal, the Obamas are worth an estimated $135 million which ain’t bad for 2 talentless unremarkable lazy people.
What was that thing Obama said about wealth? Oh yeah, he said, “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody” when he was trying to sell working and middle class people on paying higher taxes.
He also scolded Wall Street for being greedy by saying, “I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money.”
Obviously he didn’t mean he wants to spread his wealth around nor does he believe he’s made enough money yet because that’s how being full of shit works.
And speaking of which, the purchase of this mega-mansion recalls another famous Obama quote: “You didn’t build that.”
He certainly didn’t build that Martha’s Vineyard mansion or even earn the money to buy it. The good news here however is that the Obamas glaring hypocrisy signals an official end to the global warming hoax. For once their bullshit results in something positive.
