A disgruntled employee stabbed 5 people at a Tallahassee, Florida business on Wednesday and besides a liberal media black-out, democrats are absolutely ignoring it. Where’s the call to ban assault knives? Where’s the blaming of Republicans for failing to act? Where’s the condemnation of thoughts and prayers? Where’s the lie that this kind of thing doesn’t happen in other countries? It’s like democrats only care about mass violence when a firearm is used.
The Tallahassee Democrat reports that 41-year-old Antwann D. Brown was an employee at Dyke Industries, a construction manufacturing company. On Wednesday he caught a ride to work with a coworker and was said to be in “good spirits.” That mood would change quickly when he overheard a supervisor talking about the possible need to fire Brown.
Like anyone who thinks their job is jeopardy, instead of working harder, Brown confronted the supervisor and threatened him. The Supervisor grabbed a piece of wood to defend himself and told Brown to ”clock out and go home.”
According to Fox News, Brown didn’t go home but rather called his pastor and asked for prayers and forgiveness for what he was about to do, which prompted the pastor to call the police. Considering how much democrats hate prayers, I would think this detail would have gotten their attention.
Authorities however couldn’t respond quickly enough because Brown went on a mass stabbing spree.
Using what is being called a “pocket-knife style weapon” Brown stabbed 4 employees and one person who was there for a job interview. I would think just the description of the weapon would get democrats’ attention. It’s not a pocket knife, but rather a “pocket-knife style weapon.” That sounds almost as bad as “military-style assault-like weapon of war.”
While there were no good guys with knives to stop this bad guy with a knife, there were good guys with sticks, which thankfully democrats haven’t banned yet:
When the attack broke out, other employees said they fended Brown off with sticks — whatever they could grab — and pinned him down, but he escaped.
Fortunately none of the stabbing victims died. One is listed in critical condition, but all are expected to survive. Brown was arrested outside of the business and charged with 5 counts of attempted murder.
Shockingly, a guy who stabbed 5 people to save his job also has an extensive criminal record. He has been in and out of prison since 1996 for everything from drug trafficking to grand theft. He was most recently released from prison in 2009, but clearly his law-abiding streak is over.
Considering a convicted felon like Brown was able to get his hands on a “pocket-knife style weapon” I would think democrats would be paying attention to this. Clearly something needs to be done to keep dangerous weapons like this out of the hands of dangerous people like Brown: Expanded background checks, knife bans, blade capacity limits, a removal of due process, etc…
This Florida mass stabbing comes on the heels of an August mass stabbing in California in which 3 people were actually killed. One mass stabbing a month qualifies as an epidemic to democrats so it’s even weirder they are ignoring this. The only things I can conclude from all of this is that democrats don’t really care about victims of violence and have an agenda to disarm Americans that has nothing to do with making us safer.
