A week and a half ago there was a mass shooting in Gilroy, CA in which 3 people were killed. Democrats went spastic exploiting the dead to promote their unconstitutional gun control agenda. On Wednesday there was a mass stabbing in California, in which 4 people were killed (1 more than the shooting) and yet democrats don’t seem equally as outraged. Apparently it’s only tragic when people are shot to death and also democrats for some reason have no knife control agenda.
ABC 11 reports that 33-year-old Zachary Castaneda started his Wednesday off by robbing his neighbors in Garden Grove, CA. The two male victims called the police, but before authorities could arrive, Castaneda came back and stabbed them both to death.
From there, Castaneda robbed a check-cashing business and somehow managed not to stab anyone. He then stabbed a woman in front of an insurance company multiple times, but thankfully she is expected to survive.
Castaneda was just warming up. He at some point went to a Subway restaurant and stabbed a man to death. He also got into an argument with a man at a Chevron gas station and stabbed the victim repeatedly, nearly severing his nose. Again, thankfully the stabbing victim is expected to survive.
Finally Castaneda went to a 7-11 and stabbed an armed security guard to death. He then took the guard’s handgun. At this point an undercover Garden Grove police officer spotted Castaneda at the 7-11 and called for reinforcements.
Police ordered Castaneda to come out and surrender, which he did. He told the police that the blood he was drenched in was tomato sauce, which it most certainly was not.
Okay, now get ready for the best, or worst, part of this story. Castaneda has a long violent criminal history and was incarcerated for drug trafficking and possession of a banned “assault weapon” but thanks to some liberal legislation to reduce prison overcrowding was released early. Liberal California gun laws don’t stop mass shootings but liberal justice reform laws do get people stabbed to death.
Early reports indicated that all of the victims were Hispanic opening up the possibility that this was a racially-motivated killing spree, but when the stabber turned out to be a Hispanic gang banger liberals lost all interest in this story.
I follow most of the 2020 democratic party candidates on Twitter and after the Gilroy shooting, they were all outraged and calling for action to stop senseless killings like that from ever happening again. For some reason, none of them tweeted about the Garden Grove stabbing spree, despite the fact that the death toll was higher.
The stabber used what was described as a pair of “machete knives” and yet not one democrat called for a ban on assault blades. None of them complained that people should be able to get a Subway sandwich without getting stabbed to death. None of them blamed the National Cutlery Association of buying members of Congress and not a single democrat accused all knife owners of being child-killing terrorists.
What this ultimately shows is that democrats, who are shitty people, only consider it a tragedy when people are shot to death. When they are stabbed to death, who cares? If 3 people getting shot to death is terrible, and it is, why isn’t it just as terrible when 4 people are stabbed to death?
