A a flight student and member of the Saudi military opened fire on a Naval base in Pensacola, Florida killing 3 and wounding 7. This looks like a terrorist attack and is being investigated as such. Shannon Watts, the founder of anti-gun group Moms Demand Action, doesn’t care about the available facts because she is blaming this all on the NRA and President Trump.

The gunman who opened fire Friday morning at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida, fatally shooting three people, has been identified as an aviation student from Saudi Arabia as investigators are looking into whether the attack is terrorism-related.
The shooter — who was wielding a handgun, despite firearms not being allowed on base — was confronted and taken out by a pair of responding officers, officials say. Two people were killed at the scene while a third victim died after being rushed to a local hospital. Seven others suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment, including the two officers, one of whom was shot in the arm and the other in the knee. Both are expected to survive.
CNN adds:
The suspect: The gunman is dead. A member of the Saudi military training at US Naval Air Station in Pensacola is the suspected shooter.

Law enforcement sources identified the shooter as Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, a Saudi national apparently on site for pilot training…
The student, who was fatally shot by a sheriff’s deputy, was a second lieutenant in the Saudi Air Force, said two U.S. officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to disclose information that had not yet been made public. The officials said authorities were investigating whether the attack was terrorism-related.

As soon as the words “Saudi flight student” came up it should have been confirmation of a terrorist attack. All of those “people who did something” on 9/11 as Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar said, were flight students from Saudi Arabia. There should be no question that this was a terrorist attack.
And yet, here’s anti-gun mom Shannon Watts questioning the available information by blaming the shooting on the NRA and Republicans:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was endorsed by the @NRA, told gun extremists he supports guns on college campuses and open carry without a permit, signed a law allowing teachers to carry guns, and has blamed mental health and the Internet for gun violence.

It appears to Watts’ position that President Trump and the NRA blocked the passage of a bill that would have made it illegal for terrorists to shoot people at a Naval base. I am unaware of any such legislation and Trump hasn’t vetoed any gun control bills so this must be something that only exists in Shannon Watts’ hysterical mind.
There are almost no facts in on this attack yet, but here’s what we do know: the terrorist brought a gun to a place that was illegal for him do so and he killed people, which is also illegal. If only those cowards in Congress would pass a law making it illegal for scumbags to do illegal things.
Shannon Watts, like all freedom-hating gun-grabbers, will exploit any tragedy to push her gun control agenda whether the facts support it or not. If she’s looking for something to blame for the Naval base attack, how about radical Islam? Oh yeah, I forgot liberals thinks it’s racist to blame Muslims when they kill in the name their “religion of peace.”
