Mall Santas can be convicted felons, registered sex offenders, and substance abusers, but the line is drawn at supporting the President of the United States. A mall Santa in Georgia was fired for posting a picture of himself wearing a pro-Trump hat on social media. Hey, at least he wasn’t beaten to a bloody pulp like most MAGA hat victims, so he’s got that going for him.
Frank Skinner has been playing Santa for nearly 5 decades and most recently he was doing it at the Waycross Shopping Center in Southeast Georgia. Last week he posed for a picture wearing a Trump MAGA hat and then posted it on his personal Facebook page.
“It was about time to close at the mall for Santa. There were no children around and on a whim I decided to switch hats and pose with a President Trump hat. For fun, I took the picture for personal use, with my personal phone. Later, for laughs, I posted it on my personal Facebook page,” explained Skinner.
No big deal, right? Well, one uptight person was offended and complained to the mall, so you know where this is going. According to First Coast News, the mall brought the candy cane of justice down on Skinner.
Mall manager James White said he was stunned by this horrifying display of support for the President and even suggested that Skinner was making kids not believe in Santa anymore.
“Our kids are our focus and we put a lot of hard work into this. We want children to believe in Santa for as long as they can and the spirit of giving,” said White.
The response to one bitchy liberal was swift:
“We apologize for this occurrence and will be addressing this right away. The Mall at Waycross does not support any specific political party. Thank you for bringing this to our attention,” the mall management said in a message to the liberal complainer.
And here’s how the mall management addressed things:
“It’s safe to say he will not be wearing this hat around here. This particular Santa has been replaced,” said White.
Making things even shittier, Skinner didn’t even know he was fired until he heard about it from the news.
“When I spoke to the Mall management they advised me that I would be removed from rotation for a few days to investigate. Then I read the statement made by the Mall Management to the news and gathered I had actually been fired,” said Skinner.
The mall management put on a clinic in cowardice with this ridiculous episode. First they caved to the compliant of one liberal snowflake crybaby and then they didn’t even have the guts to fire Skinner to his face.
Even after being treated so unfairly, Skinner apologized because all he really wants to do is bring a little joy into children’s lives.
“I certainly was not trying to create a firestorm by doing that but simply intended to post the photo on my page for a little humor, as I have many friends & family who like me, support our president. I knew they would enjoy the photo and get a laugh. Obviously, that turned out to be poor judgment on my part. I didn’t anticipate how upsetting that would be to some members of our community. For that I’m deeply saddened and apologize,” Skinner said. “Lets all remember this is the Christmas Season lets put aside our differences and LET’S CELEBRATE IN KEEPING CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS !!!!”
Liberals can get away with putting a Nativity scene in cages to protest U.S. immigration law and portray Jesus as gay without any problem, but Santa wears a MAGA hat and the reindeer shit hits the fan. Liberals don’t even like Christmas so what is the point of trying to please them? They won’t be happy until Christmas is abolished and even then they’ll find something else to bitch about.
