Thug Caught in Possession of Stolen Car With License Plate Made With Crayons

Here’s a relatively meaningless but seriously funny story of how incredibly stupid thugs can be. Said thug steals a car, draws a fake licence plate on a grocery bag with crayons (yes, CRAYONS) and expects everything to be cool. Until a couple State Troopers happened along.

Man arrested for driving stolen car with license plate written in crayon, police say

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. —
A 20-year-old man accused of driving a stolen car was arrested by Indiana State Police on Thursday after two troopers attempted to help him with a flat tire.

Two troopers stopped to assist the man on toll road Interstate 80 in northeastern Indiana near Angola around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, but quickly noticed something was amiss.

They discovered that the driver, identified as Joshua Anthony Lewis-Brown, of Rochester, New York, had a license plate that was apparently made with crayons on a grocery bag, authorities said in a press release.

I was unable to find a picture of the fake plate, but it had to look something like this totally unrealistic attempt by another moron . . .

. . . only worse because this one is in ink and the idiot in this story broke out the old Crayolas . . . which he probably also stole from some helpless child.

After running a check of the Toyota Corolla’s vehicle identification number, troopers discovered that the car had been stolen from State College, Pennsylvania, the day before.

A man there reportedly left his car unlocked and running outside of a grocery store when it was taken.

I see this all the time where I live, cars in parking lots with the engine running, and I’m always amazed by it. Why tempt fate? You never know when a thug is going to knuckle drag along and be unable to resist the urge to steal it. Why make it so easy? He’s a moron too. Or as ‘Gunnery Sergeant Hartman’ said to ‘Private Pyle,’ “If it wasn’t for dickheads like you there wouldn’t be any thievery in the world, would there?!

Lewis-Brown was arrested in Indiana on felony stolen property charges and other charges and will be face extradition back to Pennsylvania, police said.

How in the world did you ever think this scheme would succeed? Crack kill your brain cells?
