Did Woman Drink Fish Tank Cleaner To Spite Trump? Probably

Last week President Trump talked about the anti-malaria drug chloroquine showing promise in fighting the coronavirus. A couple in Arizona ate fish tank cleaner containing chloroquine phosphate, which sounds similar but isn’t. The woman got really sick while the husband actually died and the liberal media instantly blamed this all on Trump. As it turns out, the woman is a raging liberal and it really looks like she drank fish tank cleaner just to prove President Trump wrong.

NBC reported this last week:

An Arizona man has died after ingesting chloroquine phosphate — believing it would protect him from becoming infected with the coronavirus. The man’s wife also ingested the substance and is under critical care.

The toxic ingredient they consumed was not the medication form of chloroquine, used to treat malaria in humans. Instead, it was an ingredient listed on a parasite treatment for fish.

The man’s wife told NBC News she’d watched televised briefings during which President Trump talked about the potential benefits of chloroquine. Even though no drugs are approved to prevent or treat COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, some early research suggests it may be useful as a therapy.

The couple was not sick prior to this act of stupidity but rather took the fish tank cleaner in hopes of preventing the coronavirus. And much like the liberal media, she blames her idiocy on President Trump.

“We saw Trump on TV—every channel—and all of his buddies and that this was safe. Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure,” said the woman.

In order for something to cure an illness, one must first have the disease. Also, Trump never said fish tank cleaner was safe to use.

“Oh my God, don’t take anything. Don’t believe anything that the president says and his people,” the woman said.

Oh my God, Trump never told you to ingest fish tank cleaner, you moron.

Somehow this story gets a little more intriguing. The Washington Free Beacon found some interesting information about her:

The Arizona woman who said that she and her 68-year-old husband ingested a substance used to clean fish tanks after hearing President Donald Trump tout chloroquine as a cure for the coronavirus has given thousands of dollars to Democratic groups and candidates over the last two years.

The woman’s most recent donations, in late February, were to a Democratic PAC, the 314 Action Fund, that bills itself as the “pro-science resistance” and has vocally criticized the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and held up her case to slam the White House.

Pro-science resistance? And she ate fish tank cleaner? That’s insane.

Here’s my theory: this woman hates Trump with a passion and took the fish tank cleaner thinking her and her husband would get a little sick and then they could use it to smear the President. Unfortunately for her, her TDS spastic fit backfired and her husband died. If accurate, this counts as the first recorded Trump Derangement Syndrome death.

Someone who hates Trump and thinks his response to the coronavirus pandemic is bad isn’t going to blindly follow him and take this substance. This looks like the world’s worst attempt at spiting Trump.
