In the Age of Trump, liberals must constantly stoke fake outrage at the President and it doesn’t matter that the country is currently facing a national emergency with the coronavirus. In fact, the pandemic has made it easier for liberals to find BS reason to rage against the President. The faux liberal outrage du jour is that the CDC has recommended that the public wear face masks when out in public, but President Trump has refused. OMG!!! He’ll kill us all!!!
On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control recommended, not mandated, that people wear masks or something to cover their noses and mouths when they go out in public. President Trump relayed this information to the public, but when snarky fake newswers asked if he would do it too, he said he would not.
“You can do it. You don’t have to do it. I’m choosing not to do it, but some people may want to do it, and that’s OK,” said Trump.
Cue the outrage.

After George Stephanopoulos shamed President Trump for refusing to wear a mask, he asked Joe Biden if he will:
“Yes. Look, I think it’s important to follow the science, listen to the experts, do what they tell you. He may not like how he looks in a mask but, truth of the matter is, follow the science” said Biden.
Biden followed this up by saying he would wear a mask to “commercial” places like his “local church” and then remembered that “there are no services, actually.” Then he reiterated, “My generic point is, you should follow the science.”
Okay Joe, let’s follow the science. The point of wearing a mask in public is not so much to keep you from getting the coronavirus, but rather to keep you from giving it to other people. The CDC recommends that people cover their face with non-N95 masks to keep people who are infected but don’t know it from coughing and sneezing on other people.
This science is important because President Trump does not have COVID-19. Furthermore, anyone who gets anywhere near the President is tested and monitored to make sure they don’t have coronavirus either. There is no rational purpose for President Trump to wear a stupid mask.
The thing is, if Trump did come out to give his daily coronavirus briefings in a mask, these same liberals would flip the hell out and accuse him of trying to cause panic. Also they’d cry and say he was taking much-need PPE away from the medical professionals on the front lines.
