Joe Biden has been credibly accused of sexual assault and that accusation has been corroborated by several unimpeachable sources. Biden has yet to address this rape allegation, but his campaign has sent out a helpful memo to democrats instructing them how to deny everything. Despite circling the wagons, thing are not looking good for Creepy Joe but maybe the worse news is that his talking point memo is such a load of crap that even the NYT is calling shenanigans.
Buzzfeed got a hold of the Biden talking points memo that was distributed to top democratic supporters and surrogates:
The New York Times did weeks of extensive investigative research, talking to nearly two dozen former Biden staff from the 1990s, including those who worked directly with Ms. Reade. Here is what they found: “No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of reporting, nor did any former Biden staff members corroborate any details of Ms. Reade’s allegation. The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden.”
All four of the people Mrs. Reade says were notified of an official complaint told the New York Times on the record that they have absolutely no recollection of any such conversation — and that they certainly would have remembered it, especially because this alleged conduct would have been so wildly out of character for Joe Biden.
Biden has been a fierce advocate for women, authoring and fighting to pass the Violence Against Women Act and launching a campaign to end sexual assault on college campuses. He has spent his life fighting to end abuses of power against women and using his voice to advocate for women across the country and around the world.
Here’s the bottom line: Vice President Joe Biden has spent over 40 years in public life: 36 years in the Senate; 7 Senate campaigns, 2 previous presidential runs, two vice presidential campaigns, and 8 years in the White House. There has never been a complaint, allegation, hint or rumor of any impropriety or inappropriate conduct like this regarding him – ever.
Biden believes that all women have the right to be heard and to have their claims thoroughly reviewed. In this case, a thorough review by the New York Times has led to the truth: this incident did not happen.
The memo is apparently working. Stacy Abrams, who is jockeying hard to be Biden’s running mate, went on CNN Tuesday and quoted the memo almost exactly:
“I believe that women deserve to be heard and I believe they need to be listened to, but I also believe that those allegations have to be investigated by credible sources,” said Abrams. “The New York Times did a deep investigation and they found that the accusation was not credible. I believe Joe Biden.”
She hit almost all the points, but missed one. Oh wait, here it is:
“I know Joe Biden and I think he’s telling the truth and that this did not happen,” Abrams said.
What an obedient robot she is. There wasn’t even any paraphrasing to put it into her own words.
You may notice that Joe and minions are insisting that the New York Times did an extensive investigation and cleared him of all sexual assault allegations, but it’s simply not true. Yes, the NYT did their best to downplay the seriousness of this, they are after all democratic party propaganda, but they didn’t clear him. In fact the NYT slapped down Joe’s talking memo the second it was made publicly available:
“BuzzFeed reported on the existence of talking points being circulated by the Biden campaign that inaccurately suggest a New York Times investigation found that Tara Reade’s allegation ‘did not happen.’ Our investigation made no conclusion either way,” said NYT VP of communications Danielle Rhoades Ha.
Ha, indeed. Joe’s going to need some new talking points.
It’s only going to get worse for Biden from here. The liberal media has been sitting on this story, pretending it didn’t exist, but they’ve been shamed into covering it and there isn’t enough spin in the world to make Joe look good.
He sexually assaulted a subordinate and used his power to cover it up. Either he’s done or the democratic party is done. My guess is the democrats’ survival instinct is stronger than their interest in running a mentally defective pervert in a losing campaign against President Trump.
