A couple of weeks ago NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio established a snitch-line and encouraged New Yorkers to rat out people for violating social distancing mandates. Soon after, this hotline was deluged with Hitler and penis memes. Now, the NYPD is being told to prioritize these snitch hotline calls over actual violent crime. In de Blasio’s NYC, dick pics are more important than dick rapes. This is what liberals call progress, which is another reason why liberals are morons.
The NY Post reports this thing that should effectively end Bill de Blasio’s political career:
NYPD commanding officers are telling rank-and-file cops to prioritize 311 social-distancing calls over 911 emergency calls, sources said…
“311 is more [of a] priority than someone getting robbed at gunpoint,” said a NYPD source.
Three NYPD sources told The Post they’d gotten the directive.
“The NYPD is making it mandatory to answer 311 within 45 minutes, otherwise [the commanding officer] is gonna have to explain himself,” the source said.
How does the NYPD respond to a dick pic? Unfortunately that question never gets answered.
“People getting jumped, robbed, assaulted…. doesn’t matter…. my captain asks about why a 311 job is almost reaching 45 minutes [and] not being closed out yet,” said the source.
De Blasio’s office has denied this, but what’s he going to do, admit that he wants social distancing enforced more than violent crime?
But commanding officers are under pressure to get 311 calls answered within 45 minutes to deal with surging social-distancing complaints, making it difficult for officers on the ground to accomplish that while also responding to 911 emergencies in a timely manner, according to sources.
And to back up the claim from the NYPD, there is this:
On Monday, a Bronx precinct received a call for a possible coronavirus-related death at a home and it took five hours for cops to respond, one of the sources said.
“If the dead body was a 311 call, a unit would have responded in 45 minutes,” said the NYPD source.
Just to put this in perspective, here’s some of the examples of what New Yorkers are calling de Blasio’s snitch hotline with:
Photos of extended middle fingers, the mayor dropping the Staten Island groundhog and news coverage of him going to the gym have all been texted to a special tip line that de Blasio announced Saturday…
Other profane messages included a photo of a bowl of gummy candies in the shape of male genitalia and a sign saying “EAT A BAG OF D–KS.”
An NYPD source said that “dick pic” photos of real penises have also been texted to 311, and a caller phoned in a tip that de Blasio was seen performing oral sex on someone “in an alleyway behind a 7-11” early Sunday.
I wonder if the NYPD had to go to the 7/11 and determine if de Blasio was blowing someone or not. Also, was de Blasio blowing someone?
This is what a communist dictatorship looks like. It’s not a coincidence that all of the democratic “leaders” have pivoted to totalitarianism and socialism to deal with the coronavirus. They have overblown this crisis and are fighting hammer and sickle against a return to normalcy because they want to transform our country into a socialist hellhole with them in charge. Again, this is what they call progress.
