Joe Biden has been credibly accused of sexually assaulting his former staffer Tara Reade and the liberal media’s reaction has been very predictable. They explained that “believe all women” really means only believe them when they accuse Republicans. This hypocritical approach assumes Biden’s innocence because he is a democrat but one liberal media figure is going a completely different way with this. The founder of liberal site Politico doesn’t give a damn if Joe Biden is a rapist because the most important thing is for Donald Trump to lose in November.
In a sad attempt to appear unbiased, The New York Times editorial staff suggested that Tara Reade’s allegations be investigated by (get this) the Democratic National Committee. As laughable as this was, the letters to the editor regarding it were even funnier. One of those letters came from former NYT writer and founder of Politico and The Hill, Martin Tolchin.

I totally disagree with this editorial. I don’t want an investigation. I want a coronation of Joe Biden. Would he make a great president? Unlikely. Would he make a good president? Good enough. Would he make a better president than the present occupant? Absolutely. I don’t want justice, whatever that may be. I want a win, the removal of Donald Trump from office, and Mr. Biden is our best chance.
Suppose an investigation reveals damaging information concerning his relationship with Tara Reade or something else, and Mr. Biden loses the nomination to Senator Bernie Sanders or someone else with a minimal chance of defeating Mr. Trump. Should we really risk the possibility?

So Tolchin is pretty sure Biden is a rapist but doesn’t care because he’s also pretty sure Biden can beat Trump and that’s really the most important thing here.
Also, is that a glowing endorsement or what? Biden won’t be a great president or even a pretty good one, but “Orange man bad.”
Has it occurred to Tolchin or any of the other Biden defenders that Team Trump has enough ammunition in reserve to nuke Crazy Joe a thousand times over? On top of Biden’s declining mental state, the rape allegation, and his long record of being wrong, there is still the matter of Biden’s crackhead son Hunter, Ukraine, and China. Plus I gotta believe Trump’s people have dug even deeper and unearthed all kinds of opposition research that won’t come out until we get closer to the election.
The only people who think this plagiarizing, lying, flip-flopping, raping mumbly-mouthed crazy person is a viable candidate are as delusional as Joe himself. Chances are Biden won’t even make it to November as the democrats’ nominee, so wouldn’t it make more sense to ditch him now?
I’m not here to help the democrats strategize, just point out how full of shit they are. This letter from Tolchin reveals how truly horrible the left is. Their narrative started that Tara Reade was lying because she had the nerve to accuse a democrat of something democrats are known for. That quickly morphed into: “Yeah, Joe’s a rapist but so what? We have to beat Trump and we think a guy who lets little kids rub his hairy legs in the pool is just the one to do it.”
