White Atlanta police officer Garrett Rolfe had to shoot scumbag Rayshard Brooks last weekend after the black man stole a Taser and tried to use it on him. Rolfe was immediately fired for this obvious justified shooting and a political activist DA has just charged him with felony murder that could earn the former officer the death penalty. Atlanta police officers are standing up for their brother and walking off the job in droves.

Garrett Rolfe, the Atlanta police officer fired after the killing of Rayshard Brooks last week, now faces 11 charges including felony murder, which could potentially lead to the death penalty, a Georgia district attorney announced Wednesday.
A second officer, Devin Brosnan, is facing three charges, including aggravated assault, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard Jr. said at a news conference.
Brooks was shot and killed outside a Wendy’s restaurant where he’d apparently fallen asleep in his car in the drive-thru lane. He allegedly failed a field sobriety test — and ultimately was seen wrestling with the officers and running with one of their Tasers leading up to the shooting.
“We’ve concluded, at the time Mr. Brooks was shot, that he did not pose an immediate threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or officers,” said Howard.
Remember, Brooks stole a Taser from one of the officers and turned to fire it at former Officer Rolfe. This is important because literally 2 weeks ago the same DA that has charged Rolfe said that a Taser is a deadly weapon:

If someone fires a deadly weapon at a police officer, doesn’t that cop have the right to defend his own life? Apparently not in Atlanta, especially of if the cop is white and the suspect wielding the deadly weapon is black.
Those reading this aren’t the only ones who think this felony murder charge is complete bullshit. It appears a large number of Atlanta police officers feel the same way and are walking off the job:

Atlanta’s mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms went on CNN to downplay this “blue flu” protest against the unjust charges:

Mayor Lance Bottoms assured the public that even if most of the Atlanta PD walks off the job, she can get officers from other jurisdictions to fill in. I’m guessing that’s not actually a power the mayor possesses, but whatever.
This is the result of the police-hostile environment liberal polictians and Black Lives Matter have created. Nobody in their right mind would be a police office in a major city where there is a chance they would have to arrest a violent black criminal. It’s not worth it because chances are, the officer is going to get fired, arrested, or killed. Good job, liberals. The streets are much less safe now.
