There’s some information floating around that President Trump actually set a trap to catch democrats in the act of trying to steal the election. As the story goes, Trump had the DHS put special watermarks on all official ballots, knowing that democrats would print up ballots to submit with fraudulent votes. All he has to do now is reveal the real ballots with the watermarks and the democrats are caught redhanded trying to steal the election. It sounds good, but is it true?
It’s actually pretty hard to find any information on this as Google tends to bury results like this. The only thing close to mainstream media coverage of this comes from FactCheck.org, which attributes the story as a QAnon conspiracy theory. That alone gives it some credibility since that’s one way the fake news tries to hide the truth.
The best version of this I could find comes from [your] News, which I’ve never heard of but it doesn’t come across as a whacko conspiracy theory:
Former Assistant Secretary of State, Steve Pieczenick, claims that election ballots across America have been watermarked and the Democrats will be caught engaging in massive election fraud.
According to Pieczenik, President Trump assumed Democrat tomfoolery would be needed to prevent him from securing a second term via the 2020 election.
In order to ensure the election remained fair, POTUS devised an advanced trap.
Hidden, trackable watermarks were allegedly put onto ballots so they could be verified if necessary.
“This is really a sting operation, contrary to what everyone else said. We watermarked every ballot with QFS blockchain encryption code. In other words, we know pretty well where every ballot is, where it went and who has it, so this is not a stolen election,” said Pieczenik.
Steve Pieczenick was indeed a former State Department official serving under the Ford, Carter, Reagan, and Bush Sr. administrations. He also did say what [your] News says he did because here’s an imbedded video in the article.
The biggest problem I had with this is that I wasn’t 100% sure that the federal government prints up ballots for the states. The [your] News report does cite the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency website which mentions watermarking ballots so maybe they do.
Also the report points out that President Trump signed an executive order that authorized the Department of Homeland Security to work with election officials in all 50 states to ensure election security.

If Trump thought that there were going to be millions of fraudulent ballots coming in back in June, it stands to reason that he did something to protect against it. Despite what the liberal media claims, Trump is not a stupid man. He’s not going to sit there with his thumbs up his butt as the democrats, the deep state, and China try to steal the election.
Part of this story says that Trump has been demanding that states like Pennsylvania and Georgia stop counting the votes because he knows all of the late-coming mail-in ballots are the fraudulent ones. He’s basically goading the democrats into padding the vote totals with ballots he can prove are bullshit.
Since election night, President Trump has been saying there are millions of illegal ballots being counted and the liberal media has been quick to point out that he hasn’t offered any proof. Maybe the proof is this trap he set for the democrats.
If this is true it will be President Trump’s greatest trolling of the left ever. Not only will it make the liberal media look even more dishonest, it will land democrats across the country in jail. And oh yeah, he also wins reelection.
Like I said, I’m not completely convinced this is true, but there does seem to be something to it. What do you guys think?
