‘Science’ Says Racism Prematurely Ages Black People

“Black don’t crack” is a saying meant to convey that black people don’t age as fast as those of other races but apparently it’s as meaningless a phrase as “black lives matter” because a study says racism makes black people old, fast. Then again, junk science doesn’t prove anything other than liberals think everything is racist. In this case, aging is racist somehow.

Check out this scholarly piece published in respected scientific journal, The Guardian:

Racism literally ages Black Americans faster, according to our 25-year study

I’m part of a research team that has been following more than 800 Black American families for almost 25 years. We found that people who had reported experiencing high levels of racial discrimination when they were young teenagers had significantly higher levels of depression in their 20s than those who hadn’t. This elevated depression, in turn, showed up in their blood samples, which revealed accelerated ageing on a cellular level.

These findings highlight how stress from racism, particularly experienced early in life, can affect the mental and physical health disparities seen among Black Americans.

As news stories of Black American women, men and children being killed due to racial injustice persist, our research on the effects of racism continues to have significant implications.

When has there ever been a news story of black children being killed due to racial injustice? I can think of many stories about black scumbags killing black children, but never once have I heard of a police officer or a racist white person doing this. So far, the science of this study is severely flawed.

Speaking of shit science, this is how the study determined that racism ages blacks prematurely:

The Family and Community Health Study, established in 1996 at Iowa State University and the University of Georgia, is looking at how stress, neighborhood characteristics and other factors affect Black American parents and their children over a lifetime. Participants were recruited from rural, suburban and metropolitan communities. Funded by the National Institutes of Health, this research is the largest study of African American families in the US, with 800 families participating.

Researchers collected data – including self-reported questionnaires on experiences of racial discrimination and depressive symptoms – every two to three years. In 2015, the team started taking blood samples, too, to assess participants’ risks for heart disease and diabetes, as well as test for biomarkers that predict the early onset of these diseases.

We utilized a technique that examines how old a person is at a cellular level compared with their chronological age. We found that some young people were older at a cellular level than would have been expected based on their chronological age. Racial discrimination accounted for much of this variation, suggesting that such experiences were accelerating ageing.

Or, some of the the black people in this study are unhealthy. In fact, didn’t they say something about finding that many of the participants had heart disease and diabetes? You know, conditions related to unhealthy diet and lifestyle? No, it’s totally got to bet the racism.

In fact:

With continued research, my colleagues and I hope to identify ways to interrupt the harmful effects of racism so that Black lives matter and are able to thrive.

Liberal science tell us that men wearing dresses are really women and that killing babies saves lives. Now they are trying to tell us that racism prematurely ages black people because a small number of blacks who self-reported being victims of racism have chronic illness associated with unhealthy living.

Racism doesn’t cause obesity, eating too much unhealthy food and a lack of exercise does. In other words, the choices a person makes in his or her life determine the quality of that life. Maybe the real racism lies in expecting black people to be held responsible for their own actions.
