Now we know why Joe Biden decided to keep the guy around. FBI director Christopher Wray lied to Congress that he’s seen no evidence that members of domestic terrorist group Antifa participated in the January 6 Capitol riots. The FBI arrested at least one member of Antifa who infiltrated the Capitol building, so this is what we call perjury.
Fox News reports:
FBI Director Chris Wray testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday that the bureau, to date, has not found any evidence showing Antifa members or “fake Trump supporters” participated in the Capitol riot.
Clarifying that the FBI does not evaluate perpetrators based on a left or right political spectrum, Wray testified that it’s clear a large and growing number of those arrested so far in connection to Jan. 6 could be categorized as militia violent extremists or racially motivated extremists, naming both the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys groups.
In response to a question from Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., Wray clarified that FBI’s ongoing investigations have not found Antifa involvement.
“We have not to date seen any evidence of anarchist violent extremists or people subscribing to Antifa,” said Wray.
Oh yeah? What about this guy?
That’s John Sullivan a self-proclaimed Antifa activist and Black Lives Matter agitator. He literally founded a group called “Insurgence USA” which is an anarchist extremist organization
He was inside the Capitol on January 6. He was arrested and charged with civil disobedience, trespassing, violent entry, and disorderly conduct.
Here’s the affidavit with evidence from the FBI, stating that Sullivan did all of this stuff.
The FBI investigated and arrested a self-proclaimed member of Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and anarchist group Insurgence USA, so when Wray says the agency has found no evidence that any “anarchist violent extremists or people subscribing to Antifa” participated in the Capitol riots, that is a lie. Lying under oath to Congress is perjury.
As for Wray’s claim that there were no fake Trump supporters participating in the January 6th riots, that’s a lie too as Def-Con News identified several leftist weirdoes who infiltrated the Capitol.
Wray also seemed to contradict himself by saying that the FBI was focused on investigating white supremacists militias who breached the Capitol…
“The attackers on Jan. 6 included a number — and the number keeps growing as we build out our investigations — of what we would call militia violent extremism. And we have had some already arrested who we would put in the category of racially motivated violent extremism, white as well. Those would be the categories so far that we’re seeing as far as Jan. 6,” said Wray.
…and then he said this:
“We don’t care what ideology motivates somebody. We don’t care whether it’s left, right, up, down, diagonal or any other way. If the ideology is motivating violence and violates federal law we’re coming after it,” Wray said.
Well clearly that’s not true because he’s going after “white supremacists” while ignoring Antifa and BLM.
Wray is lying because he is part of The Purge of conservatives that has resulted from the false narrative surrounding the “armed violent Capitol insurrection” and if you don’t believe me, at least check this out from The NY Post:
FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday refused to tell senators the cause of death for Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, whose death heavily influenced coverage of the Capitol riot.
Reports after Jan. 6 originally said Sicknick died after being bludgeoned by a fire extinguisher while fighting off then-President Donald Trump’s supporters, which authorities didn’t deny at the time. The claim became part of the impeachment trial case against Trump for allegedly inciting the riot — though his family now says it’s untrue.
Wray cited an “ongoing” investigation into Sicknick’s death.
“I certainly understand and respect and appreciate the keen interest in what happened to him — after all, he was here protecting all of you. And as soon as there is information that we can appropriately share, we want to be able to do that. But at the moment, the investigation is still ongoing,” said Wray.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked if that meant the FBI “have not determined” the cause of Sicknick’s death.
“That means we can’t yet disclose a cause of death at this stage,” Wray said.
Grassley pressed on, asking Wray to confirm whether the FBI has determined a cause of death.
“I didn’t say that. We’re not at a point where we can disclose or confirm the cause of death,” Wray said.
So the FBI can’t look at an autopsy report and tell what the case of death was? That sounds unlikely.
Joe Biden has fired everyone else in the government from the Trump administration, but decided to keep Wray around. Now you know why.
