CNN is the least trusted news source in the world, so they know a little something about people not trusting journalists and yet they still manage to be wrong on this. According to the fake news network, if reporters ask Joe Biden tough questions at his first press conference later today, people will stop trusting the news. Too late. Thanks to 4 years of Trump-era lies and partisan hackery, there is no trust to lose.
After ducking the press for over 60 days, illegitimate president Joe Biden will hold his first news conference on Thursday. It’s almost guaranteed to be a scripted and controlled event, but just in case, CNN’s Joe Lockhart has some advice for his fellow journalists:
The White House press corps needs to adjust to the new President. The rules that evolved around Trump should not be applied to Biden. Some in the White House press corps have figured that out. Some have not. The press conference will be a national event on how the press treats the new President.
Distrust of the media is very high in our country and an overly aggressive or obnoxious press corps may do more to damage journalism than the President.
So the only way the press can regain the trust of the people is by not asking Biden any questions he can’t or won’t answer? How does that make any sense?
It doesn’t and in fact is the complete opposite of what will happen. If Biden’s press conference consists of pre-approved questions from friendly media outlets, people will trust the media even less. The damage to journalism comes from being purveyors of democratic party propaganda.

Just like in competitive sports, he’ll be ready to play offense or defense depending on the subject matter.
For myself, I plan to sit back and watch our American democracy work again in a way we haven’t seen in a while.
Biden is no Trump. He tells the truth to the best of his ability; he believes the media is an essential part of our democracy and he believes that conflict is bad for the Presidency and the country.
That last one is technically not a lie, at least the first part. Joe Biden does everything to the best of his ability, it’s just that his abilities are so limited, both physically and mentally. This is like claiming Micheal Moore runs marathons to the best of his ability and pretending that it’s a major accomplishment that he can barely get off his sofa.
The second part however is pure bullshit. Biden believes that controlling the press is an essential part of him not being exposed as a senile liar. It’s why he hid in his basement for the entire 2020 presidential campaign and why he is only now giving a press conference.
I’m sure Biden lobbied to have Joe Lockhart at this press conference, but there’s enough liberal media hacks at the rest of the fake news sources to ensure he won’t get asked anything tough or fact-chekced when he lies.
