In 2016, a radical Islamic terrorist shot up the gay Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The killer was motivated by jihad and not anti-LGBT hate, but since liberals can’t condemn Islamic terrorsm, they ran with the false homophobia narrative. On the 5th anniversary of the shooting, democrats celebrated by perpetuating that lie.
On June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen entered the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando and open-end fire. He killed 49 and wounded 53 more. From the beginning, his motivation was clear. This is from the Wikipedia page on the shooting:
In a 9-1-1 call made shortly after the shooting began, Mateen swore allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and said the U.S. killing of Abu Waheeb in Iraq the previous month “triggered” the shooting. He later told a negotiator he was “out here right now” because of the American-led interventions in Iraq and in Syria and that the negotiator should tell the United States to stop the bombing. The incident was deemed a terrorist attack by FBI investigators.
And as left-leaning The Intercept noted:
The view that Mateen deliberately targeted the LGBT community is almost certainly false.
…Mateen went to Pulse only after having scouted other venues that night that were wholly unrelated to the LGBT community, only to find that they were too defended by armed guards and police, and ultimately chose Pulse only after a generic Google search for “Orlando nightclubs” — not “gay clubs” — produced Pulse as the first search result.
Several journalists closely covering the Mateen investigation have, for some time now, noted the complete absence of any evidence suggesting that Mateen knew that Pulse was a gay club or that targeting the LGBT community was part of his motive.
Matten was looking for a large concentration of Americans to kill, not a large concentration of gay people. And yet:

Look at that. All of these democrats falsely claiming that the Pulse shooting was an anti-LGBT hate crime while pushing gun control. Also, zero mention of the fact that it was a radical Islamic terrorist attack.
Illegitimate president Joe Biden took it a step further by naming the Pulse nightclub a national memorial. The AP reports:
President Joe Biden said on the fifth anniversary of a mass shooting at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, that he will sign a bill naming the site as a national memorial.
Biden…described the club as “hallowed ground.”
Biden said the nation must acknowledge that gun violence has hurt members of the LGBTQ community
“We must drive out hate and inequities that contribute to the epidemic of violence and murder against transgender women — especially transgender women of color,” Biden said.
Huh? So Biden thinks the terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub was an attack on black trannies? This lie is getting out of control.
Democrats believe if they tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth. It’s the only way they can push their agenda because reality says they are all full of shit.
