Maybe the NFL didn’t go woke enough or broke enough with their anti-police/BLM social justice campaign because they are seriously trying to get rid of every last fan. Showing that they have no idea who watches and supports football, the NFL has declared that they are gay and transgendered. Meanwhile, millions of former footballs fans will be wondering what else is on TV this Fall.
I can’t imagine there was ever a point in the development process where people at the NFL thought this was a good idea and yet here it is:

According to the NFL, football is gay, lesbian, queer, transgender, and bisexual. How? For some reason that wasn’t explained.
Outsports reports the video was made to support a single gay player in the league:
The NFL told Outsports that its intention with the “Football is for everyone” video is to send a strong message of acceptance from the league to fans and players. The video is a direct response to the coming out of Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib, Outsports was told by league spokesperson Samantha Roth.
“I am proud of the clear message this spot sends to the NFL’s LGBTQ+ fans: This game is unquestionably for you. I will be playing its first line over and over in my head all season,” said NFL diversity director Sam Rapoport.
Do they have stats on how many LGBTQ fans the NFL has? I’m certain the league’s gay fan base is as non-existent as the league’s integrity, so this will go down as one of the biggest blunders ever. While it attracts no new fans, it repels existing fans, which is the exact opposite of how marketing is supposed to work.
This guy don’t get it:
“This spot is about celebrating Pride, and the importance of inclusion. It’s imperative that we use our voice and leverage the NFL platform to drive positive change, which includes supporting what our players care about and what they stand for,” said NFL chief marketing officer Tim Ellis.
I’m not sure this clown understands what the word “imperative” means. It’s imperative that the NFL puts out a product that entertains people. It’s not necessary or even productive to delve into all the woke-ass social bullshit they’ve been occupying themselves with for the past couple of years.
If they really want to be LGBT-inclusive, why don’t they load up the team rosters with transgender men (women pretending to be men) so people will tune in to watch them get literally killed on the field? I’d watch that. Okay, maybe just once, but that’s still more than I watch football now.
Also, if football is truly gay as the NFL claims, there’s going to need to be a few team name changes to replace lost traditional fans with LGBT fans:
Green Bay Packers – Fudge Bay Packers
Pittsburgh Steelers – Shittsburgh Turd Burglars
NY Giants – NY Giant Penises
Jacksonville Jaguars – Jackassville Jagoffs
Dallas Cowboys – Dallas Cowpersons
SF 49ers – SF 69ers
Arizona Cardinals – Arizona Cardinal Sinners
Las Vegas Raiders – Las Vegas Rapers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Tampa Bay Butt Pirates
Obviously The Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns and LA Rams can all keep their existing LGBT-friendly names but the mascots will have to be updated.
There are still some old-school football fans who will cling to this dying league but I am assured the NFL has “top men” working on a way to alienate them too.
