Earlier in the week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reinstated a mask mandate for the House side of the Capitol. Because she wants people to tremble before her fascist dictatorial powers, she has ordered the Capitol Police to arrest anyone who defies her by going maskless.
Pelosi sent out a memo as reported by Republican Rep. Kat Cammack:
In today’s edition of Pelosi’s abuse of power, Capitol Police have been directed to arrest staff and visitors to comply with her mask mandate for vaccinated individuals.
For Members, they advise not arresting but “reporting Members to SAA for their failure to comply.”

NY Post reporter Steven Nelson clarified that Congress Members “in most cases” won’t be arrested:

The House democrats have no problem with this anti-science unconstitutional order, mostly because that’s what it means to be a democrat, but the House Republicans will not comply:

Pelosi isn’t trying to make things safer. This mask mandate, even for vaccinated people, is not based on science. What’s she’s trying to do is trigger a confrontation so she can assert her power. She wants Republicans to resist so she can let everyone know she’s the Head Bitch In Charge.
Pelosi’s powertrip will end up backfiring on her because this is just another thing Republicans will run on to defeat vulnerable democrats and flip the House. This is what it looks like when Pelosi shoots herself in the foot.
