Joe Biden completed his chaotic U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan yesterday but stranded hundreds and probably thousands of Americans. Because his incompetence is multi-faceted, he also left behind dozens of U.S. contact military service dogs. Joe has never pretended to like American humans, but is supposedly a dog lover so this disgrace busts another narrative.
Yesterday, Dr. Robin R. Ganzert, president and CEO of American Humane wrote an open letter alerting people to a situation in the wake of the the last U.S. troops being pulled out of Afghanistan:
I am devastated by reports that the American government is pulling out of Kabul and leaving behind brave U.S. military contract working dogs to be tortured and killed at the hand of our enemies. These brave dogs do the same dangerous, lifesaving work as our military working dogs, and deserved a far better fate than the one to which they have been condemned.
A group working to evacuate these dogs tweeted out this picture of the lovable pups in cages at the Kabul airport:

The SPCA has reported that the military working dogs are now running loose in the Kabul airport after they were denied passage on the final planes leaving Afghanistan.
Because of how shitty this looks, the Biden administration is denying it:
“To correct erroneous reports, the U.S. military did not leave any dogs in cages at Hamid Karzai International Airport, including the reported military working dogs.Photos circulating online were animals under the care of the Kabul Small Animal Rescue, not dogs under our care,” said DOD spokesman John Kirby said in a statement.
What Kirby left out of this denial is that those dogs under the care of Kabul Small Animal Rescue are abandoned contractor dogs who worked with the U.S. military. These are bomb-sniffing, search, and rescue, attack dogs that worked along side our troops in Afghanistan. The Biden administration thinks it’s somehow less horrifying by pointing out that they aren’t official U.S. military dogs. They’re wrong.
This is admission that military service dogs were left behind, which is really the only important information here. Biden abandoned dogs. Period. End of sentence.
Remember how much the liberal media freaked out because Donald Trump didn’t have a dog in the White House? They said it was one of the many reasons why he could be trusted. In retrospect, we can say that at least Trump didn’t hand a bunch of military dogs over to the Taliban to be tortured and killed. Then again, Trump didn’t give the Taliban $85 billion in weapons and an entire country either.
And that brings us to this Hillary Clinton tweet that has aged worse than her:

This may be the first and only time Hillary was right about something. Joe Biden can’t be trusted with dogs or border security or the economy or foreign policy, but definitely not dogs.
There are several groups working to get these dogs out of Afghanistan and let’s hope they are successful. Given the clusterf*ck Biden left the country in, it’s not a given that these pooches are going to make it out. The same goes for the American people he abandoned.
