The 2022 Oscars: Recapping Hollywood’s Three-Hour-Long Attack on American Values

After the Oscars 2021 ratings catastrophe that led to a 58% dip in viewership, this year’s awards show returned to the original formula of filling the Dolby Theater with Left Coast elitists ready to remind the nation how evil white people are. Luckily for you, I endured three hours of pro-Zelensky, anti-American, Rainbow Jihad propaganda so that you wouldn’t have to.

SPOILER ALERT: Unless your favorite film features an all-POC cast, highlights disabilities, or is named “Dune,” it did not win.

The 2022 Academy Awards began with a pre-recorded song and dance number featuring Beyonce and her crew of all-Black dancers. (Sorry, no whites allowed). We were treated to a performance of “Be Alive,” her Oscar-nominated song from the biographical drama “King Richard,” which follows the life of Richard Williams, the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams. Hilariously, before the music started, we were welcomed to the “Vibrant Hub of Los Angeles,” also known as Compton.

Next up — increasingly irrelevant actresses Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, and Regina Hall took the stage to plead their case for modern feminism. Schumer’s pre-written jokes made it embarrassingly obvious she has never heard of 1963’s Equal Pay Act — as she parroted leftist talking points surrounding the “gender wage gap.”

“This time, the Academy hired three women to host because it’s cheaper than hiring one man.”

According to estimates, the actress and “comedian” has a net worth of $25 million. She also indulged in self-hatred, shaming herself for being the only white co-host:

“I am representing unbearable white women who call the cops when you get a little too loud.”

Schumer then joked that The Golden Globes would be added to the “In Memoriam” package this year. She was referencing the manufactured outrage created by an LA Times exposé over the lack of Black members within the HFPA, the Hollywood cult that determines the nominees and winners of the Globes.

Near the conclusion of an opening monologue riddled with recycled DNC talking points from 2020, the openly gay Wanda Sykes attempted to poke fun at a “controversial” piece of legislation coming out of Florida:

“We’re going to have a great night tonight, and for you people in Florida, we’re going to have a gay night.”

The three co-hosts then began parrot the word “gay” multiple times, much to the delight of child grooming advocates such as Denzel Washington, Will Smith, and Nicole Kidman. Florida House Bill 1557, titled The Parental Rights in Education Bill, has been slandered by mainstream outlets as a “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Ironically, the legislation does not mention the word “gay” once. The bill does, however, prohibit classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through grade 3 or “in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.” Needless to say, this bill is not popular amongst LGBTQIA+ activists who prefer that your child be raised by the State.

Now back to our original programming. After all the “Don’t Say Gay” shenanigans — Wanda, Regina, and the token White did not miss an opportunity to bash the Senate minority leader who is universally hated by both the far-left and the conservative right: ‘Cocaine Mitch’ McConnell.

“This year we saw a frightening display of how toxic masculinity turns into cruelty towards women and children.” “Damn that Mitch McConnell,” exclaimed Sykes.

One of the first awards of the night was presented by Daniel Kaluuya, the British actor who played the Black Panther Fred Hampton in “Judas and the Black Messiah.” “Long live Chairman Fred!” said Kaluuya of the Marxist-Leninist who was involved in kidnapping and beating a Black couple over a missing firearm accessory.

The award for best supporting actress was then given to Ariana DeBose for her performance in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” adaptation. This drew the praise of legacy media outlets as DeBose is the first “Afro Latina and first openly queer woman of color” to win an Academy Award for acting.

The commercial breaks did not offer a reprieve from the virtue signaling. If we were not watching an ad highlighting a Black, female business owner or a new electric vehicle, we were reminded once again that the program was sponsored by Pfizer and BioNTech. The United States and New Zealand are the only two countries in the world that allow pharmaceutical advertising. This is considered unethical in most countries.

Once again, Regina Hall would grace the stage. In a bit where she was selecting potential sex partners, she would call up Tyler Perry, Bradley Cooper, and Timothée Chalamet to the stage. She then instructed them to head backstage and “take your masks and clothes off” so she would do a COVID swab on them with her tongue and record it. This skit was almost immediately before a live rendition of a Disney song for children (We Don’t Talk About Bruno).

The rest of the evening went on as expected. Wanda Sykes complained that no Black directors have won Oscars. Ellen Page was paraded on stage to demonstrate the horrific outcomes of “gender-affirming” surgeries and gender dysphoria that has been normalized in our culture through the mass acceptance of modern gender theory.

We don’t talk about Bruno — and we won’t talk about Will Smith either. If you want to see a cuckold punch a comedian for telling a joke about his wife, feel free to open your Twitter feed at any point today.

If nothing else, this year’s show served as a sobering reminder that the film industry and entertainment space as a whole have degraded into a moral stain upon American culture. Unfortunately, it is no longer feasible to boycott every film, television show, video game, news program, consumer electronic, sports league, and retailer that does not align with our values. Conservatives cannot effectuate the movement or seize victories within the culture war if we refuse to engage with the culture itself. With the big players such as The Daily Wire dipping their toes into the movie space, however, it’s essential we support them with our finances and viewership.
