Joe Biden’s lies never remain stagnant as he tends to escalate them over time. For years he’s been lying about how many times he’s visit Iraq and Afghanistan. It started at 30, went to 40, and now it’s over 50. The reality is, he may have visited these counties about 20 times and even that is probably bullshit.
Recently, Biden visited some kind of weapons plant in Ohio to sell his “Build Back Better” agenda. Given the amount of bullshit he was spreading, it seemed more like a manure factory:

“I’ve been in and out of Afghanistan, Iran, and Iraq, I mean Iraq, over 50 times, 48 times,” said Biden.
He’s never been to Iran, so that’s a lie and so is his claim to having been in an out of Iraq and Afghanistan over 50 times.
During his State of the Union Address in March he said, “I’ve been in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan over 40 times.”
Then on the campaign trail in 2019, Biden said, “I’ve been in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq over 30 times.”
Joe Biden hasn’t been to either Iraq or Afghanistan since 2016, so there’s no accounting for the difference in times he claims to have visited the countries in the past 3 years. There’s also no accounting for why he claims any of these numbers because, as The Washington Post reports, he’s only been to Iraq and Afghanistan 21 times, both as a Senator and vice president.
That 21 number comes from Biden’s people, so even that is a bit suspect. Here’s all the times I could find that he visited either country:
April 28, 2016 – Biden makes a surprise visit to Iraq
January 11, 2011 – Biden meets president Karzai in Afghanistan
December 1, 2011 – Biden gives a speech to troops in Iraq
August 30, 2010 – Biden goes to Iraq to announce the end of combat mission
July 2, 2009 – Biden visits son Beau in Iraq
Winter 2008 – Biden’s helicopter forced to land during snowstorm in Afghanistan
I can find no record of Biden having visited Iraq during or after the Gulf War of the early 1990’s. He also didn’t make an appearance there following the second Iraq War.
That leaves a total of 6 times Biden has been to either Iraq or Afghanistan. Maybe his people are trying to claim that as a Senator, Biden went to these countries 15 times between 1973 and 1990 but that seems unlikely. Iraq and Afghanistan were unimportant to the U.S. in that time period.
Technically, Biden did say he was “in and out” of these countries so under his creative counting scheme going to Iraq is one and the subsequently leaving Iraq counts as one. Still, that only adds up to 12 in and outs, a far cry form the 50 times he claims.
The big question here is, why would he lie about something this stupid and so easy to disprove? I know he’s relying on the liberal media to take a nap on the fact-check, but it doesn’t make him look any better on the eyes of the public. Literally no one supports Joe Biden because of the number of times he’s been anywhere.
As you can see, Biden’s lie is growing and by this time next year, he will claim to have been in and out of Iraq hundreds of times.
