The House democrats held some kind of abortion hearing today and for reasons only known to them, called a transgender care specialist as an expert to testify. When asked if men can get pregnant, this so-called expert said yes, including biological males. Naturally, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defended this absurd position because she’s an idiot.
Fox News reports that during today’s House abortion hearing, Republican Rep. Andrew Clyde asked the director of trans care for Planned Parenthood if biological men can get pregnant. This “expert” said men “can have pregnancies, especially trans men.”
Let that sink in for a second. Trans men are women who pretend to be men and, if they haven’t had sex change operations, still have female plumbing and can get pregnant. Nobody’s arguing against that. What the trans care weirdo said was that even biological men, with no female plumbing whatsoever, can have pregnancies. How?
After pointing out that “men cannot get pregnant” Clyde asked the democrats why they called such a ridiculous witness in a hearing on abortion.
This was all too much for AOC and she went into a hissy fit.
“The same folks who told us that COVID’s just a flu, that climate change isn’t real, that January 6 was nothing but a tourist visit are now trying to tell us that transgender people are not real, and I would say that their claim is probably just as legitimate as all their others, which is to say not very much at all,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
Well, COVID is a flu. It’s a bad flu but a flu nonetheless. Climate change isn’t real and there’s no science that says otherwise. January 6 wasn’t a tourist visit but it wasn’t an insurrection or a deadly riot either.
But most importantly, no Republican claimed transgender people are not real, they pointed out the scientific fact that biological males cannot under any circumstance get pregnant. Not only is she insipid, she’s too dumb to even realize what she’s freaking out about.
Now, if she had said that Republicans said that a trans man isn’t an actual man or that a trans woman isn’t really a woman, that would have been accurate. But then again so too would be the Republican claim that identifying as a gender doesn’t make someone an actual member of that gender.
After Republican Rep. Jake LaTurner suggested that the democrats should be focused on inflation and the economy instead holding a hearing on abortion, AOC flew into a rage and screamed, “Abortion is an economic issue!”
“Forcing poor and working-class people to give birth against their will, against their consent, against their ability to provide for themselves or a child, is a profound economic issue and it’s certainly a way to keep a workforce basically conscripted to large-scale employers and to employers to work more against their will, to take second and third jobs against their desire and their own autonomy,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
If only there were some hi-tech solution that could keep people from having babies they don’t want or can’t afford like contraception or pulling out, poor people wouldn’t be forced to have children.
Putting this all together, it’s AOC’s opinion that there should be no restrictions on abortion because otherwise poor biological men will be forced against their will to give birth and then have to take on 3 jobs, which is slavery. She truly is one of the greatest idiots of our time.
