Joe Biden may have wrecked the economy and made everyone poorer but that doesn’t mean he has abandoned us completely. According to the illegitimate president, the best way to beat the inflation he caused is to simply eat generic Raisin Bran. It does seem a little weird that he’s been sitting on the inflation-busting tip while families are struggling but better late than never, I guess.
Biden was in Syracuse yesterday and did another scripted interview that allows him to regurgitate his talking points:
“What do you say to Americans because gas prices to many people are still too high, groceries are still expensive, what’s your message to them?” the reporter asked.
“My message is, we’re getting them down. I told you I’d bring ’em down and we’re bringing it down,” said Biden.
Not true and neither is this:
“I come from a family where when gas prices went up, when food prices went up, what happened, what happened was was a conversation at the kitchen table,” Biden said.
Def-Con News has proven, using science, that gas prices never spiked significantly for the first 32 years of Joe’s life. When he was living at home there was never a rise in gas prices that caused a conversation at the kitchen table. This is something that Biden constantly lies about to make him seem relatable to people suffering from his economic incompetence and it’s bullshit.
“And by the way, the food frices, the main priver of food prices is not the price of beef and eggs, etcetera,” said Biden.
The price of eggs is up 32 percent under Biden. Beef is up almost 20 percent. This is another lie. And really, before Biden I could get a dozen eggs at Aldi for 99 cents. Now they cost more than $3. I’m not an economist, but doesn’t that mean the price of eggs has gone up by over 200 percent?
As doomy and gloomy as Joe has made things, he does have a solution to beating inflation. Biden said the real reason why food prices are up is because of packaged goods.
“It’s packaged goods. Packaged goods. You’re going to see people not buying Kellogg’s baw Raisin Bran watcha yilly gonna sees is them buy another Raisin Bran which will be a dollar cheaper, I mean,” Biden said.
Saving a buck by eating store brand Raisin Bran is going to keep everyone who is struggling right now from financial ruin? Apparently so, according to Joe.
“We were able to, what we did the Reflation Reduction Act was is we reduced the cost of a lot of things for people. Things that they need,” Biden said.
The funny thing here is that “reflation” is basically massive government spending. A Reflation Reduction Act would be a reduction in government spending, something the $737 billion Inflation Reduction Act doesn’t do. It also doesn’t reduce inflation because inflation is largely caused by massive government spending.
In addition, Biden is completely full of shit. The Inflation Reduction Act hasn’t brought down the cost of anything, especially food or even generic Raisin Bran.
I wanted to get a picture of Joe Biden eating cereal or at least something from a bowl for this article but the only things out there are hundreds of shots of him eating ice cream.
