It appears as if incoming Republican Rep. George Santos has padded his resume a bit, which is never a good thing. Then again, illegitimate president Joe Biden does it all the time. For some reason, CNN is all over the Santos story, but can’t find the time to fact check Biden’s fictitious history.
The long and the short of it is that Santos has claimed his grandparents were Jewish, converted to Catholicism, and fled Nazi persecution during WWII. He never claimed he as Jewish, just that his family has once been.
Because he’s a Republican, CNN hired a genealogist to knock him down a peg:
Claims by incoming Republican Rep. George Santos that his grandparents “survived the Holocaust” as Ukrainian Jewish refugees from Belgium who changed their surname to survive are contradicted by sources reviewed by CNN’s KFile including family trees compiled by genealogy websites, records on Jewish refugees and interviews with multiple genealogists.
CNN also noted that Santos, “may have misrepresented parts of his resume about his college education and employment history.”
This prompted Politico’s Sam Stein to ask an unintentionally hilarious question:

Joe Biden was in Congress, wasn’t he?
The current illegitimate president and former Senator Joe Biden’s entire life is made up. He lied about his academic record claiming he went to college on full scholarship and graduated at the top of his class. In reality, he had no scholarship and was an extremely poor student, who barely graduated.
Biden lied that he was appointed to the U.S. Naval academy, but turned it down to go the the University of Delaware, where he lied that he could have been an All-American on the football team. Biden was never elected to attend the Naval Academy and he never played football for Delaware.
Joe has also had his troubles with plagiarism, both in college and on the 1988 presidential trail.
As for employment, Biden has lied that he was long-haul trucker on several occasions. He also lied that he was a diplomat who negotiated peace with Golda Meyer during the 6-Day War. Plus he keeps lying that he used to be a college professor.
Despite with lily-white appearance and Catholic faith, Biden has lied that he was raised in the black community, the Puerto Rican Community, and the Jewish community. CNN has never hired a genealogist to look into these fantastic claims.
On a personal level, Joe lies about everything that’s ever happened to him. He lied that his son Beau died in Iraq. He lied that he presented his dead uncle with a Purple Heart. He lied that he’s been in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan more than 50 times.
Not one thing Joe Biden claims is true and all of his bullshit is easily fact-checked except the liberal media won’t do it. Look at all those links I included. I got the receipts.
George Santos said something about his family heritage that may or may not be true. So what? Has anyone at CNN ever heard of Elizabeth Warren? She pretended to be a Native American for most of her life, and even used the lie to further her career.
If fudging ones resume is the standard for outrage with the liberal media, they need to go apeshit on the lying leaders of the democratic party first.
