It’s unclear why Michelle Obama called her kids terrorists and revealed that she hated hubby Barack for ten years, but it’s probably a weird ploy to gain sympathy. Not only is poor privileged Michelle constantly the victim of racism, she also suffers from inadequate support from her family.
During a Revolt TV roundtable interview with other sassy women of color, Michelle Obama threw her family under the bus:
“People think I’m being catty by saying this: It’s like, there were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband. And guess when it happened? When those kids were little,” started Michelle.
It’s kind of f*cked up that she refers to her only daughters as “those kids” but she’ll do worse in just a sec.
“And for 10 years while we’re trying to build our careers and, you know, worrying about school and who’s doing what and what, I was like, ‘Ugh, this isn’t even,’” she continued.
Basically, she hated Barack for 10 years because she, as the woman, had to be the mom for their 2 children. What a catastrophe.
“And guess what? Marriage isn’t 50/50, ever, ever. There are times I’m 70, he’s 30. There are times he’s 60, 40, but guess what: 10 years — we’ve been married 30. I would take 10 bad years over 30 — it’s just how you look at it. And people give up … ‘five years; I can’t take it,'” said Michelle.
Yeah, it’s normal for people who hate each other for several years to split up. It’s positively bizarre that Michelle hated Barack for 10 years and stayed with him.
This is already terrible, but the reason why she hated her husband is sickening:
“Little kids, they’re terrorists. They have demands. They don’t talk. They’re poor communicators. They cry all the time. They’re irrational. They’re needy. And you love them. And so you can’t blame them, right? … So you turn that ire on each other,” Michelle said.
She hated her kids but couldn’t take that out on them so she turned on her husband instead. What truly rotten person she is.
She comes off even worse when you consider the timeline: Michelle says she hated Barack for 10 years, starting with the birth of their first daughter, Sasha, who was born in 1998. 10 years later, in 2008, Michelle claims she finally stopped hating him and that just so happens to be the year Barack was elected President of the United States.
As first lady, Michelle Obama was infamous for taking lavish vacations and going on expensive shopping sprees, all on the taxpayer’s dime. When Barack was a penniless nothing, Michelle hated him, but when he was president and she could splurge with other people’s money, she suddenly stopped hating him. What a coincidence.
After leaving the White House, publishers, Netflix, and various rich people gave the Obamas tens of millions of dollars for no particular reason and the couple who never had real jobs in their lives have beachfront mansions and a net worth of over $70 million. It’s a good thing too, because if the Obamas had to live off of money Barack actually earned, Michelle would be back to hating him.
All of this further confirms that the Obamas, like the Clintons, have a marriage of convenience. Barack needs Michelle so people will think he’s a normal heterosexual family man, and she needs him for the money.
