Joe Biden is a liar, hates the 2nd Amendment, and loves pretending he is black. The illegitimate president may be nearly braindead, but he somehow found a way to combine all of his passions into one pander-tastic event. While kissing Rev. Al Sharpton’s ass, Biden lied a bout guns and gun ownership.
To commemorate MLK day on Monday, Biden spoke at Sharpton’s National Action Network, which is kind of like honoring Veteran’s Day by speaking at draft dodger Bill Clinton’s foundation.
Sharpton kicked things off by saying, “Joe Biden and Kamala Harris has literally brought about things that have changed the lives of all Americans.”
This is actually true as every American is now poorer and eggs are more expensive than gold.
When Biden took the stage, he did a mic check that included him saying, “Hello, hello, no ho.” Certainly there were some hos in the audience of a NAN meeting however.
From there, Biden sang “Happy Birthday” to someone in the crowd:
“Happy birthday, dear Vaaalaad,” sang Biden, forgetting the name of the recipient of his song.
Biden also referred to Republicans as “fiscally demented” in another of his unity speeches. While he is an expert on being demented, this was another unwarranted attack.
From there, it was all about lying about guns:
“I love my right-wing friends who talk about the tree of liberty is water of the blood of patriots. If you need to work about taking on the federal government, you need some F-15s. You don’t need an AR-15,” said Biden adding, “I’m serious. Think about it.”
We have thought about it because Biden has been using some version of this bullshit for years. He has no right wing friends and the 2nd Amendment doesn’t allow the government to ban weapons if they aren’t suitable for taking down the government.
And speaking of the 2A, Biden dusted off this frequently told lie as well:
“The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn’t buy a cannon,” Biden said.
The only reason why you couldn’t buy a cannon when the 2nd Amendment was ratified is because you weren’t alive then. The has never been a Constitutional restriction on cannon ownership.
“The point is that there has always been the ability to limit — rationally limit — the type of weapon that can be owned and who can own it,” Biden added.
Again, the Constitution has never put a limit on what type of weapon a person can own or who can own that weapon.
And finally, dropped this load of shit again:
“We have to retrain cops. Why should you always shoot with deadly force? The fact is if you need to use your weapon, you don’t have to do that,” said Biden.
This is like when Biden said cops should shoot armed criminals in the leg, which is an incredibly dumb idea. Then again, he’s an incredibly dumb guy.
BTW, Martin Luther King Jr. was a gun owner who believed in his Constitutional right to self-defense. Leave it to pandering Joe to “honor” his legacy by being this full of shit about his right to keep and bear arms.
