Another Biological Male Named USA Today’s ‘Woman of the Year’

Last year, USA Today beclouded itself by naming biological male, Rachel Levine, as one of its “Women of the Year.” This year they are back with another dude, erasing real women and taking the spot of a more deserving candidate, by giving a transgender state lawmaker the nod.

Most people do their “Best of the Year” lists at the end or beginning of the year, but USA Today is such a garbage organization that they don’t get around to it until late March. This year’s USA TODAY’s Women of the Year has the same problem as last year’s: it ain’t all women:

Leigh Finke is one of USA TODAY’s Women of the Year, a recognition of women who have made a significant impact in their communities and across the country.

Growing up in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, Finke was always interested in politics but never planned to be a political candidate herself. In November after her first bid for public office, Finke became the first transgender legislator appointed to the Minnesota House of Representatives after winning 81% of the vote in her district.

Finke has been an activist for transgender and LGBTQ+ rights, as well as Black Lives Matter, almost her whole life.

Really? Because Black Lives Matter only became a thing 10 years ago. Leigh Finke is 41 years old and 10 years isn’t “almost her whole life.” Also, she’s a guy so…

The only apparent reason why Finke has been named as a woman of the year is because he/she/it is a man pretending to be a woman. There are no tangible accomplishments beyond that, pointed out by USA Today. Maybe if I pretend to be a Weimaraner, I can win Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show this year.

As it turns out, this USA Today Women of the Year list is playing fast and loose with the term. Check out this travesty of a winner:

For some reason, Michelle Obama didn’t get an extensive write-up like all the other “ladies” but as you can see, she won the award for “telling her story.” Not only don’t you have to be a woman to be a USA Today Woman of the Year, you don’t even have to accomplish anything remotely impressive.

For the record, that last bit satisfies my obligation to question Michelle Obama’s gender in print at least once a month.

Ironically, there was someone named “Nicole Mann” on the list, but she’s actually a woman. The rest of the list is a bunch of people nobody ever heard of, with many looking like they could be men, but are probably just ugly lesbians.

This continued assault on womanhood comes just weeks after Jill Biden awarded a biological male the International Woman of Courage Award. The bare minimum requirement for winning any kind of woman award should be that the recipient is actually a woman. TV shows don’t win best movie Oscars and dudes shouldn’t be recognized as great women.
