“Shotgun” Joe Biden has said some pretty stupid things about firearms over the years, but he may have out-dumbed himself recently. The illegitimate president claimed that a pistol brace has the magic ability to increase the caliber size of any gun it is attached to. If this were true, I’d put pistol braces on all of my small-caliber weapons for some serious firepower upgrades.
Biden’s ATF decided that AR-15 style pistols fitted with stabilizing braces are short barreled rifles, and required owners to registered them as NFA weapons, which comes with a hefty tax stamp. The ATF had previously said these types of weapons were perfectly fine, but under Biden, everything is f*cked up.
Commenting on this BS ATF rule that Congress is poised to overturn, firearms “expert” Biden explained what a pistol brace does to an audience of gullible idiots:

Simply fascinating. According to Joe, a pistol is not a gun until you put it on a brief or brace. As if that wasn’t already amazing, once you put the pistol on a brace, the caliber of the weapon increases. For example, if you put an AR-15 pistol, chambered in .223, on a brace it would now be firing .308. I wonder in this gun wizardry has a cumulative effect, like the more braces you add to a gun, the higher the caliber goes. Concievably, you could start out with a .22 and end up with a .50 BMG. Or, even better, a 120mm tank round.
2nd Amendment Champion, Dana Loesch, says Biden’s statement is the single dumbest thing anyone has ever said on the subject of firearms:

While this is admittedly stupid, Biden does have a long history of saying dumb things about guns. Let’s check the archive to see if it’s the stupidest:
In March of this year, Biden claimed this about the 2nd Amendment: “You’re not allowed to go out and own a an automatic weapon, you’re not allowed to own orm machine-gun, you’re not allowed to ohm a flamethrower.”
In October of 2022, Biden said, “My legislation says there can be no more than 8 bullets in a round, okay?”
In May of 2022, Biden touched on the subject of caliber with this fantastic claim: “A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body.”
And on the campaign trail, Biden previewed his unique gun control initiative: “I believe in the Second Amendment but nobody says you can have a rounds — a magazine with a hundred clips in it.”
Clearly Biden’s claim about the pistol brace is stupid, but no more idiotic than anything else he’s said. The problem is, Joe has set the bar so high, that it’s nearly impossible for him out-stupid his own stupidity.
