There’s something weird going on with Arizaon’s democrat governor, Katie Hobbs. She has disappeared and for some reason the Republican state treasurer, who is low in the line of succession, has been named acting governor. There may be a logical explanation for all of this, but since it involves democrats, something legitimately stinks here.
The weirdness started when Republican state Treasurer, Kimberly Yee, anonounced on Twitter or X or whatever the social media platform is called now, that she was selected to be acting governor:

Yee will apparently be acting governor from Thursday evening until Monday morning, which is odd, to say the least. Maybe Katie Hobbs is undergoing some kind of procedure that requires her to be anesthetized, but that doesn’t make sense. The President of the United States must temporarily turn over his power when he goes under, because he’s in charge of our nuclear arsenal, but a state governor has no such responsibility.
Even weirder, the line of succession in Arizona goes from democrat governor Katie Hobbs to democrat Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes to democrat Attorney General, Kris Mayes. Yee is fourth in line and a Republican, so why was she named acting governor?
Reportedly, Hobbs, Fontes, and Mayes are all currently outside of the state, which is another noodle scratcher. Governor’s don’t have to name replacements every time they leave the state. California governor Gavin Newsom has been criss-crossing the country, campaigning for president, and he hasn’t put anyone else in charge. There is something amiss.
Just two days ago, rumors began circulating that the state Senate was going to indict Katie Hobbs on racketeering charges. It’s probably true, because The AP was quick to dismiss the allegations. According to The AP, Hobbs hasn’t been indicted, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be. It’s possible that she has skipped town to avoid being served a subpoena or warrant.
Somehow, the mystery deepens with this news from KTAR:
President Joe Biden arrived Wednesday night in the Valley where he will honor the late Senator John McCain Thursday in Tempe.
The president landed just after 8 p.m. at Sky Harbor International Airport.
Due to the president’s Arizona visit, some park areas and roads around the Tempe Town Lake area will be temporarily impacted on Thursday. In addition, a small portion of Tempe Town Lake will be partially closed. Downtown Phoenix will also have road and rail line closures.
Just as Joe Biden arrives in Arizona, the the top democrat leadership of the state mysteriously disappear. This could just be a case of no democrats wanting to be anywhere near Biden’s train wreck of an administration. Especially since Arizona is a border state that is overrun with Joe’s complete lack of immigration enforcement.
I think it’s all of the above. Katie Hobbs, who is a total scumbag, is probably running from the law as much as she is trying to distance herself from another scumbag, Joe Biden. Whatever the truth is, don’t expect a democrat to ever come clean about it.
