I don’t think a single headline can accurate convey how truly full of crap Barack Obama is. The man who was famous for being a liar said that he only deals in facts and the truth and then told one of the biggest lies of his lying life. I guess he figured since the liberal media never called out his BS when he was president, why would they start now?
Obama was campaigning for democrats in Nevada when he said this:
“Unlike some I actually try to state facts. I believe in facts. I believe in a fact based reality and a fact based politics. I don’t believe in just making stuff up,” said Obama.
Does he mean like “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” or “I was born in Hawaii” or “My wife is a woman”?
This was obviously a shot at President Trump. Obama won’t actually say Trump’s name because he’s scared of conjuring some kind of Trumpian demon, but he will refer to his successor as “some folks” or “some people.” Here, he’s trying to say that Donald Trump is a liar who makes stuff up.
And speaking of making stuff up, in the same speech, this bullshit flowed out of Obama’s mouth:
“By the time I left office, wages were rising, uninsurance rate was falling, poverty was falling and that’s what I handed off to the next guy. So when you hear all this talk about ‘economic miracles’ right now – remember who started it,” Obama said.
Okay, now Trump is “the next guy” but it doesn’t detract from what a colossal lie this is. Under Obama the economy was flat, but since Trump took over things are booming. Somehow, Obama is trying to take credit for this, which is as ridiculous as it sounds.
In order for there to be any truth to Obama’s claim, Trump would had to have basically continued Obama’s policies. If you’ve been paying attention you may have noticed that Trump has departed radically from the Obama-era economic polices.
Trump cancelled shitty Obama trade deals and renegotiated NAFTA. Trump threatened tariffs on China, Canada, and the European Union, which got them to the table to come up with more fair deals. Trump got companies to move their factories back to the US and cut taxes and regulations so manufactures can compete. The end result has been more jobs, higher wages, and an economy that is growing like crazy.
Obama said manufacturing jobs were gone for good and tried to get the US involved in terrible trade deals that would kill off American manufacturing for good. Obama regulated the shit out of anything he could and that did nothing but kill jobs. Obama single-handedly tried to obliterate the US energy industry, which would have put hundreds of thousands of Americans out work and put the cost of electricity and gas out of reach for most people in this country.
So, no Trump hasn’t continued Obama’s disastrous economic polices and therefore, Obama doesn’t get to take credit for the booming Trump economy. For him to even suggest this is his biggest lie yet.
When Obama was in office he blamed all of his failure on his predecessor George W. Bush. Now that Obama is out of office he’s taking credit for all of Trump’s success. These are not things a guy who deals in facts does, these are the actions of of a world-class bullshitter.
