So far democrats haven’t been doing a very good job of believing all women when it comes to Justin Fairfax. A credible allegation of sexual assault has been made against the Virginia Lt. Governor and the democrats have taken a wait-and-see approach that they only reserve for fellow democrats. Let’s see how they do with this one: a second woman has made an accusation of rape and has all sorts of corroborating evidence. My guess is this doesn’t move the Democratic Party needle one bit. When they say #BelieveAllWomen, it comes with an asterisk indicating that women accusing democrats are lying whores.
Earlier in the week a woman named Vanessa Tyson accused Fairfax of sexually assaulting her at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. She said what started as consensual kissing turned into forced oral sex and apparently has told many people about the incident. Fairfax denied this and lawyered up very quickly. A funny side note: Tyson has retained the services of the lawyers who represented Christine Blasey Ford and Fairfax has hired Brett Kavanaugh’s lawyers.
In any case, today another bomb exploded in Fairfax’s lap. This is a statement from the lawyers of a woman named Meredith Watson:
Watson alleges that while she and Fairfax were students at Duke University in 2000, that he raped her, describing it as “aggressive and premeditated.” The statement claims that Watson and Fairfax were friends but never romantically involved. Well, until he raped her and I’m guessing that probably put an end to their friendship.
In the statement it says that the circumstances of Watson’s rape was similar to the one alleged by Vanessa Tyson, so it establishes a pattern of sexual predation on Fairfax’s part. It’s not going to be the least be shocking if more women come forward accusing him of rape.
The lawyers say that they have a ton of corroboration for Watson’s story. There are statements, emails, and texts from Watson’s Duke classmates and friends showing that she told them about this rape immediately after it happened. This is important because it proves Watson didn’t just decide to come forward with a crazy allegation because Fairfax is suddenly in the news.
The statement says Watson came forward because she was disgusted that Fairfax did this to another women after he raped her. She isn’t seeking financial gain through a lawsuit, she simply wants this scumbag to resign.
According to NYT reporter Jonathan Martin, Fairfax has issued a statement about this latest sexual assault allegation:
NEW: Fairfax issue statement denying this latest allegation, calls for a full investigation and notes he has passed FBI background checks.
Says there is a “smear campaign” being run against him.
And concludes: “I will not resign”

Why should he resign? He’s a democrat and only has 2 rape accusations against him. Bill Clinton racked up two sexual assault claims a week and he never resigned. When it gets to 10 or more, then maybe Fairfax will think about resigning, but this is nothing yet.
Besides, it’s not like the democrats are going to pressure Fairfax to quit. Not only is he one of them, he’s black and it would be racist to suggested his penchant for rape disqualifies him from holding public office. Now if he were a white Republican, that would be a different story, but he’s covered by the raging hypocrisy and double-standards of the Democratic Party.
