Democrats Demand GOP Apologize For Being Horrified By Rashida Tlaib’s Anti-Semitism

Those darned Republicans are at again, directly quoting a democrat. Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib said the the Holocaust gave her a calming feeling and members of the GOP reacted negatively to her raging anti-Semitism. Naturally the democratic party leadership has condemned Tlaib’s hatred. Actually I’m kidding, Nancy Pelosi and company are demanding the GOP apologize to Tlaib for being offended by her anti-Jewish statement.

Here’s what Tlaib said to set everything off:

“There’s always kind of a calming feeling, I tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports and just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time and I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away, and it was forced on them,” said Tlaib.

Besides being historically inaccurate, Tlaib said that the systematic murder of 6 million Jews gives her a peaceful easy feeling. That’s anti-Semitism no matter how you slice it up, something that didn’t go unnoticed by Republicans:

“There is no justification for the twisted and disgusting comments made by Rashida Tlaib just days after the annual Day of Holocaust Remembrance. More than six million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust; there is nothing ‘calming’ about that fact,” said Rep. Steve Scalise.

Liz Cheney obviously doesn’t know Pelosi and Hoyer very well because this is their response:

“If you read Rep. Tlaib’s comments, it is clear that President Trump and Congressional Republicans are taking them out of context. They must stop, and they owe her an apology,” wrote Hoyer in an e-mail.

By all means, put Tlaib’s comments into their proper context, because everyone else on the planet thinks they sound like she said the Holocaust makes her feel good inside. Well, not every person on the planet, because this is what Nutty Nancy had to say:

So Rashida Tlaib says the attempted genocide of the Jewish people makes her feel groovy, Republican react in horror, and the GOP owes the Muslim Rep. an apology? How in the hell does that make any sense?

Actually, the is fairly consistent with the democratic party’s mission to protect its hateful members. Ilhan Omar, another Muslim democrat, made a series of anti-Semitic remarks last month and the democrats’ response was to accuse Republicans of putting her life in danger by reacting to her hatred.

The thing is, is both cases all Republicans did was directly quote these Islamic jihadi congresswomen. There was no paraphrasing, mis-quoting, or taking anything out of context. These were their exact words and somehow it’s the Republicans who must apologize.

If the GOP owes the American people an apology for the democratic party harboring hatred and anti-Semitism, they also clearly should apologize for the democrats’ perversions and sexual assaults. While they’re at it Republicans should say sorry for Hillary Clinton’s lawlessness and corruption. Hell they might as well apologize for slavery, Indian genocide, segregation, interning Japanese Americans and every other f*cked up racist thing the democrats have done.
