Fresh off her call for a menstruation holiday, the democrats in Congress brought actress Busy Philipps in to testify as a health care expert. I have no idea if she has ever played a doctor, but apparently her credentials were enough for the dems. The subject of the hearing was abortion and in one Q&A, this Hollywood “expert” couldn’t say if she thought a baby who survives an abortion has a right to life. I guess maybe her expertise lies in supporting infanticide.
Seriously, why the hell was Busy Philipps testifying before Congress? Or for that matter, why do democrats always bring in liberal entertains to testify? If democrats are setting their policy based on the opinions of airhead celebrities, they’re even worse than I thought.
In any case, Philipps testified that she had an abortion at 15 and said, “I don’t believe that a politician’s place is to decide what’s best for a woman. It’s a choice between a woman and her doctor.”
Okay, cool. Since politicians can’t decide what’s best for a woman, does that mean we can cut off all federal funding to Planned Parenthood? Actually, all federal dollars that go to women in any capacity must be halted because politicians shouldn’t be making any decisions for them, right?
“I am so sad that we have to sit here in front of a row of politicians and give deeply personal statements because the ‘why’ shouldn’t matter. I am a human being who deserves autonomy in this country that calls itself free,” said Philipps.
Again, cool. Be autonomous and pay for your own abortions, kill your own spiders, and take out your own trash.
Philipps also indicated that men shouldn’t be making “health” decisions for men.
And while we are on the subject, all 9 Supreme Court Justices who decided Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion, were men so that ruling must be immediately repealed.
Hey, this is the democrats’ expert, so they should definitely follow up on her expert testimony with decisive action.
The best part of the latest democrat sham hearing was when Republican Louie Gohmert got a chance to question her about Melissa Ohden, a woman who survived an abortion attempt.

“Would you agree that somebody who has survived and abortion like Melissa Ohden, has a right when she’s born to life? To control over her body, where someone else doesn’t try to take her life?” Gohmert asked.
“Although I played a doctor on television, I’m not actually a physician,” replied Philipps.
Well, there’s my answer. She did play a doctor and that’s why democrats think her testimony is relevant. She didn’t however answer Rep. Gohmert’s question so he tried again. She rehashed her line about politicians not making decisions on women’s bodies, so Gohmert tried again.
“What about a baby and the doctor? That’s my question,” said Gohmert.
After a long pause Philipps said, “I can’t speak to her experience because I wasn’t there.”
Gohmert tried a forth time to get a straight answer to a simple question.
“Would you agree that she is a person? A human being?” Gohmert asked.
The correct answer here is “yes.” Philipps went a different way.
“I’m not speaking about birth, sir. I’m just speaking about abortion,” replied Philips.
Wow. This loony abortion fangirl can’t even say that someone who survives an abortion attempt has a right to live or that she is even a human being. She was asked 4 times and the best she could come up with is, “I’m not a doctor, but I play one on TV.”
Philipps also played a drunken whore on Cougar Town, so maybe the democrats will bring her back to offer expert testimony on statutory rape and drunk driving. Democrats are not serious people and this ridiculous hearing is more proof of that.
The only plus here was that it wasn’t a hearing trying to keep the debunked Trump/Russia collusion lie alive. But in an ironic twist of liberal horribleness it was hearing to use lies to make sure human babies don’t stay alive.
