Back in the 80’s when gang violence between Crips and Bloods started escalating in South Central Los Angeles, some black parents thought the unending scourge of violence could be quelled by moving their families away from the brutality of battlegrounds like Compton and Watts to safer areas out in the desert. Places like the Antelope Valley and Moreno Valley. It didn’t work out as planned. All it served to do was to turn these seemingly safe havens into the same sort of shitholes they came from. You can change your geographic location but if you don’t change your behavior it means nothing.
Here’s an example of what I’m talking about.
MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA) — Disturbing video of a fight at a Moreno Valley skate park has been circulating on social media.
The assault occurred Saturday evening at the new skate park, less than a mile from police headquarters.
The video shows three males violently punching and kicking two other young men.
More accurately, it shows three black males assaulting two white kids.
A third victim is attacked and spit on as a half dozen or more people watch and record video.
While there’s no known motive for the attack, it would seem that one of the white kids had somehow wronged one of the blacks. Some sort of perceived “disrespect” is my guess, because during the initial attack, someone can be heard shouting, “That’s the wrong nigga! It ain’t even him!” An honest mistake. I guess we all look alike. So the thugs then pursue other white kids to pummel. Anyway have a look:
I’m disappointed that none of the white kids even try to fight back. Instead they curl into fetal positions or try to flee. Yeah, you were slightly outnumbered but you’re going to take a beating either way, might as well go down swinging.
CBSLA’s Michele Gile showed the footage to moms at the skatepark who hadn’t heard about the violence over the weekend.
“Something needs to be done,” said mother Trisha Krug. “I don’t know what could be done. Maybe security at the park. That’s horrible,” she said.

There are currently security cameras high on poles at the community park.
Moreno Valley City Manager Tom DeSantis says there are 400 cameras around town taking videos that are managed by the police.
“There were no calls to 911 dispatch when this occurred. Our message here to the community is, our park rangers, our police, they can’t be everywhere all the time,” said DeSantis.
The footage is being used to investigate the situation.
Officials say neither the victims nor the suspects have been identified.
And alas, once again why isn’t this on CNN or MSNBC, or any other major media outlet for that matter? Because we all know (and I grow weary of saying it) if the situation was reversed, whites attacking blacks? The headlines would scream “HATE CRIME! RACIST WHITE YOUTHS BEAT BLACKS!(and they’d probably blame Trump somehow)” Grab your lighters and gasoline and burn down your city, loot your local stores! Why isn’t anything like that occurring here?
Same old liberal hypocrisy.
