Democrats. Solutions. Well, maybe not. 2020 democratic party candidate Kamala Harris says if she is elected president, she will solve the mass shooter problem once and for all. Through executive action Harris says she will ban the import of AR-15s, which probably sounds awesome to low-information liberal idiots. Even when they find out that AR-15s are American-made they still probably won’t stop high-fiving because all they’ll see are the words “AR-15” and “ban.”
Here’s a thing Harris thinks will make a difference:
Assault weapons are weapons of war. They are designed to kill a lot of people quickly. There is no reason they should exist on the streets of a civil society.
As president, I’ll take executive action to ban imports of AR-15-style assault weapons.

“Assault weapons” aren’t weapons of anything let alone war because it’s a term that liberals made up and doesn’t reflect any actual firearm. What they call “assault weapons” are actually semi-automatic rifles that fire one round per trigger pull. These are also not weapons of war as no soldier in any military on the planet would willingly carry one onto the battlefield.
Semi-auto rifles like the AR-15, which Harris is referring to, were not designed to “kill a lot of people quickly” they were designed to be the civilian version of the full-auto/select fire M-16. Equally the M-16 wasn’t designed to inflict maximum human carnage, the platform was developed to be a lightweight rifle capable of laying down cover fire, but whatever.
Because the only thing Harris is good at besides sleeping her way into politics is packing in the bullshit, she intends to make AR-15s nonexistent by banning their import through executive action.
AR-15s are made in America, you dumbass. Yes, there are a couple of foreign companies that make also make AR-type weapons, but they have US Divisions so they are made here and not imported. Besides, an imported rifle must be made mostly of U.S. made parts or it can’t come in so it’s pretty much an American rifle when it hits the stores.
And seriously, who in their right mind is going to buy a Kazakhstani-made AR-15 no matter how inexpensive it is? The AR-15 is America’s rifle and Americans want American-made ones.
Then there’s the problem that Kamala can’t ban the import of weapons as there are specific laws that allow for their importation. On the outside chance she gets elected president, she might want to brush up on executive authority. I can assure her that creating legislation is not one of the powers of the presidency.
Just for fun, let’s go to Imagination Land and pretend that Harris becomes POTUS and magically bans the import of AR-15s. Then what? There’s still hundreds of millions of American-made ARs, with more being made and sold every day. Since long guns of any kind are so rarely used in violent crime that it’s statistically insignificant, what will be the impact of no more Borat-branded AR-15s? The answer is: nothing.
This plan to ban imported ARs is completely pointless. Now if only Harris could find a way to make it costly, it would be the perfect democrat solution to a non-existent problem.
Harris says that AR-15s shouldn’t “exist” on our streets, which is a weird thing to say. If she’s really interested in taking action about something on our streets that shouldn’t be there, she should take a look at her hometown of San Francisco, where the streets are covered in human feces. Unlike AR-15s, she actually could ban public shitting and it would make a difference in people’s quality of life.
