From the same man who brought “Meatless Monday” to New York City schoolchildren, Mayor Bill de Blasio seeks to expand the choking death grip of socialism to Big Apple residents with another authoritarian idea.
Hizzoner’s 2020 presidential run has imploded like the shit cake that it always was and now that he has inhaled the gaseous emissions from other socialist candidates, he has plenty of time to focus on additional ways to inflict misery on his own constituents.
Now de Blasio is mulling mandating bicycle riders to be licensed by his crooked big city government and to face serious consequences if they fail to comply with his coming decree.

According to the New York Daily News, “Mayor de Blasio says bicycle licenses should be considered, promises to sic cops on cyclists”:
Mayor de Blasio on Wednesday said he was considering requiring bike riders to be licensed, and even pitched the idea of forcing Citi Bike renters to wear helmets.
“We have to think about what’s going to be safe for people first, but also what’s going to work,” the mayor said of the helmet requirement. “Is it something we could actually enforce effectively? Would it discourage people from riding bikes? I care first and foremost about safety.”
De Blasio added that he thinks the idea to force cyclists to have licenses and registration is a “valid discussion.”
Whether or not he moves forward with the license requirement, the mayor said he plans to crack down on cyclists who break traffic laws, despite little evidence suggesting that bikes are a menace to public safety.
“We are going to keep expanding enforcement on bicycles as well, because we still have a lot of bike riders who have to remember they have to follow the rules,” said de Blasio.
Meanwhile, de Blasio has earned the ire of the David Brock-George Soros smear machine for his appearances on Fox’s Tucker Carlson show. According to a tweet by Angelo Carusone – who runs the Media Matters terrorist campaign to bully sponsors to pull their ads from Fox with the McCarthyist lie that Carlson is a white supremacist – tweeted out a missive asking “what the fuck” de Blasio is doing by agreeing to appear on the network that the dictatorship of the woke have targeted for termination.

Despite being a major bug up a vicious little bastard’s ass, de Blasio’s reign of terror underscores the socialism of the radicalized Democratic party which has gone from the party of FDR and JFK to the party of Vladimir Lenin and Al Sharpton in only a few short years.
They want to strip Americans of their freedom to make their own decisions and put power into the hands of an authoritarian government that the socialists will control.
