With all of Joe Biden’s gaffes, racism, lies, flip-flops, memory issues, health problems, and recorded history of terribleness, this may be the thing that puts an end to his presidential campaign. When asked to explain why people should vote for him, he flatly refused. If he can’t make a case for him being president, why should anyone else? For that matter, why is he even running if he doesn’t know why he should be in the White House? He’s certainly a complex dude.
Here’s another clip for the Biden highlight reel:
File this in the ‘why is Biden even running for president?’ drawer.
Reporter mentions Iowa’s economy is booming.
Reporter: “Why should people want to make a change?”
Biden: “Well that’s up to them to decide.”
Reporter: Well make your case?”
Biden: “I’m not going to.” pic.twitter.com/edmWgsDgRK

“In Iowa, the unemployment rate is 2.5%. People say they are employed in Iowa and their small businesses are growing,” said the reporter.
“[Mumbly mumbly] they were employed before [Trump] got elected,” said Biden.
“The President won by 10 percentage points in Iowa,” countered the reporter.
“I’m not suggesting he didn’t win by 10 percentage points. What I’m suggesting is he’s not the reason for the unemployment rate being down,” Biden said (sort of).
Watch the video, Biden couldn’t articulate one single word in those last two lines.
“But why should people want to make a change, though?” asked the reporter.
“Well, that’s up to them to decide,” said Biden.
“Why should they?” the reporter tried again.
“That’s for them to decide,” repeated Biden.
“Well, make your case,” said the reporter.
“I’m not going to,” exclaimed Biden.
Again, please watch the video if for nothing else but to see the expression on Biden’s face. He’s a deer caught in the headlights. There’s a look in his eyes that says, “Oh shit, she’s on to me. I got nothing.”
Hillary Clinton failed against Trump in 2016 for a lot of self-inflected reasons but one of the biggest is that she never gave people a reason to vote for her. She wanted to be president, but she couldn’t explain to the people why they should also want her to be president. She did at least BS her way around the issue claiming she was the most qualified person to ever run for office despite a complete lack of accomplishments.
Here Biden is straight-up saying, there is absolutely no reason why anyone in their right mind would vote for him. I mean, he didn’t even answer “why the hell not vote for me?” He was given the opportunity to make a case for his presidency and his reply was essentially, “Why should I be president? Kiss my ass, that’s why.”
Keep in mind that Biden’s campaign is devoid of policy specifics and he’s running on entirely on his electability. That he’s the only democrat who can beat President Trump in the general election. His deteriorating mental health was a concern but the fact that he can’t come up with one reason why people should vote for him really puts a damper on that whole electability thing.
And it’s not even that he can’t come up with any reasons why people should vote for him, he’s actually defiant about it. Like “How dare you question my motivations. I’m Joe ‘Motherf*cking Biden.”
While Crazy Joe can’t give people a reason to elect him, he’s actually quite good at giving them plenty cause to vote for someone else.
