It was just another day at the office for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who uncorked yet another of her trademark deceptive tweets on Friday.
The socialist Twitter diva who rode a wave of gushing media coverage into Congress despite her lack of experience tried to gloss over her role in destroying thousands of well-paying jobs by taking credit for Amazon’s announcement that it was coming to New York after all.
In a typically narcissistic missive from her Twitter account, the former bartender smugly posed with her feet propped up and wondered when the “haters” were going to offer up their apologies over justifiably blaming her for torpedoing the online retail giants plans to open a second HQ in the Big Apple.

Via The Hill, “Ocasio-Cortez: ‘Won’t you look at that: Amazon is coming to NYC anyway'”:
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) slammed Amazon’s announcement that it’s building a headquarters in New York City, but touted the fact that it will not receive any financial incentives from the local or state government.
“Won’t you look at that: Amazon is coming to NYC anyway – *without* requiring the public to finance shady deals, helipad handouts for Jeff Bezos, & corporate giveaways,” she tweeted.
“Maybe the Trump admin should focus more on cutting public assistance to billionaires instead of poor families.”
But as it always is with AOC, the devil is in the details and just like those concentration camps along the border, claims of migrants being forced to drink from toilets and that the world will end in twelve years, she left out the inconvenient truth.
You went from 25,000 Amazon jobs in your district to just 1,500 being offered OUTSIDE your district.
You're an idiot if you think this is a success for your constituents.

While she was taking a victory lap over Amazon’s announcement that it would be opening a facility without incentives AOC failed to mention that not only is the facility outside of her district but that it will bring a fraction of the jobs that she helped to destroy.
The office which will be located in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards is expected to employ around 1,500 people – a far cry from the 25,000 that the second headquarters would have brought to Queens had the socialist not led efforts to kill the deal along with the windfall to other area businesses that would have resulted from it.
Don’t expect to see any of the approved “fact-checkers” point out that once again, AOC’s pants have burst into flames with her latest fabrication because they have her back.
