Earlier in the week Hillary Clinton unloaded on Bernie Sanders saying “nobody likes him.” Bernie is a cranky old coot so a bombastic response was expected for this public attack. Instead, the elderly socialist waited a few days and then went on TV to basically kiss Hillary’s saggy ass. As if that’s not weird enough, Bernie didn’t even deny that he’s unlikeable.
There’s a new documentary coming out about Hillary Clinton that nobody cares about and in it she had this to say about Bernie Sanders:
“He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it,” Hillary said.
In an interview to promote the documentary, Hillary was asked if her statement against Bernie still stand and she responded, “Yes, it does.”
Sure, this is kind of like Satan calling someone else out for being evil, but the point is that Hillary publicly attacked Bernie.
Bernie is still pissed that Hillary and the DNC rigged the democratic primaries to steal the nomination away from him and these words should have set the angry curmudgeon off. They didn’t however and, in fact, he was very cordial when asked about it on CBS:
“It was also mentioned by Senator Hillary Clinton, who said that while you two were campaigning against each other, that you also said she was unqualified to be president. She said that you foster a toxic culture in your campaign where your prominent supporters — Bernie Bros — attack women, and will you denounce those attacks?” CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell asked.
“I have. Of course. I’m sorry for what Secretary Clinton had to say,” said Sanders.
The dude is literally apologizing for being attacked by Hillary Clinton.
He did say something that was almost like criticism of Hillary, but not really:
“I know she said that nobody likes me, right? I mean this is not the kind of rhetoric that we need right now when we are trying to bring the Democratic Party together to defeat the most dangerous president in American history,” Sanders said.
Seriously. He doesn’t deny that everybody hates him. When someone makes an accusation, as Hillary did, you’re supposed to offer a rebuttal. In this case Bernie should have said, “of course people like me” even if it is a lie, which it is. He’s letting it stand that everyone thinks he’s a piece of shit.
And from there it was nothing but wrinkly asscheek kissing:
“What Secretary Clinton did indicate, I was glad to hear this, is that she would support the Democratic nominee, and if that’s me, I look forward to her support,” said Sanders.
They must have gotten to him, huh? Like maybe somebody slipped a note under his door saying “Epstein didn’t kill himself.” Bernie obviously got the message not to cross the Clintons. He already had one brush with death with his heart attack and he is in now hurry to meet the Grim Reaper again.
